I was on a wrestling site, and i saw that WWE is possibily doing a 2-disc Ultimate Warrior DVD. I would buy it just for the interviews.
You gonna plunk down the cash for this one, RD?

I'll buy it just to watch the Savage/Warrior career match again...even though I watched it over the weekend...

If it was 2 disc-6 hours of promos and interviews, I'd for sure get it. But matches? I don't know about that one.
Warriors interviews skills are unmatched by anyone, and will forever be untouched.
Flair? Foley? Hogan? Austin.....they have nothing on Mr. Hellwig.

I'd pick it up, after a few months, if it was in the bargain bin.

It must be a bait to lure the Warrior into a HHH squash!

The double disc set might be worth getting. I have to learn what's on it first!

The only way I'll buy it is if it has that squash match from Raw where Vader whipped his ass something serious....then Bulldog and Owen ran in and all 3 of them beat the shit outa him for no showing at a couple of house shows in late 96.

I'd get it for the promos alone.

The Ultimate Warrior DVD will be worth purchase just for the promos alone......Although Hellwig did have a few good matches in his career.

He pissed off Vince McMahon when he went into the ring after Hall & Nash had their final WWF match. Whenever HHH, HBK, Hall & Nash hugged that pissed Vince off. he couldn't punish HBK because he was champ and hall & Nash were leaving. So HHH got punished that is why he was jobbing to Stalker barry Windham all the time. RD had said something about this in the Wrestlecrap book.

I know this isn't Warrior's fault, but it still makes me hate him...
I was young... I bought tickets to a WWF house show featuring Warrior vs. Andre the Giant. I liked Andre. Hell, I still like Andre. Andre is great, a legend, a phenom, you all know...
But. at that point, the man could barely move. So... he got into the ring. and he was Andre and I was near him, and I was excited!
And the Ultimate Warrior ran out... clotheslined him three times, hit him with a splash and pinned him. Took less than a minute,
And I was pretty damned crushed to see Andre get squashed.
And, yes, this was not Warrior's fault. Andre should have been retired and relaxinf at that point. And, Warrior didn't book the match.
But, that's no way to treat a legend. I was a very dissapointed 13 year old when that happened. It ruined the whole show for me.
So... bad Wrrior! Bad!

You're right I had gotten my dates mixed up, sorry about that. I have no explaination for the Ultimate Warrior Squash then.
Speaking of Warrior, I can tell you when he pissed me off, and that is in June of 1995, when I was extremely excited to be going to a WWF House Show which was supposed to feature the Ultimate Warrior on the card. He no-showed. But I was still happy because I got to see Pyscho Sid defeat Owen Hart in 30 seconds now THAT was interesting.

I wonder if they will include any of his squash matches from challenge and superstars on it? I remembered one Saturday night main event he wrestled a masked wrestler named Super Ninja 1. I thought he looked like Octagon from the AAA promotion. Any idea who was under the mask? Was Al Snow even around back then?
