Howdy RD and loyal crappers.
I've read "Death of WCW" about three times straight through and have got a few questions.
1. RD, in all your research for the book did you ever find out who actually named it "Monday Nitro" and was Nitro named as such because (as I think) it sounded like "Monday Night Raw"? (Hey, come on, you wouldn't put it past em, would you?)
2. What is dear Tony "THIS IS THE GREATEST NIGHT IN THE HISTORY OF OUR SPORT!" Schiavone doing nowadays and did he have any other role in WCW besides being lead announcer/doofus?
3. Did you ever find out what was with Russo and the blood from the ceiling?
Also on a somewhat unrelated note, do you think Raw will end up back on USA?

To answer question number 2: Shivonie is now working as an announcer on Braves baseball. He did one appearance for TNA last year and he looked like Dante Hicks from Clerks.

I think I can answer number 1: there was already a pre-existing show on TNT called Thursday night Nitro where they showed action movies. Kind of a pre-'movies for guys who like movies' show.
