Me too, and yes. PS which theater were you at anyway? I wasn't thinking but...we were probably at the same place tonight. We were at the Rave, and got there far too early so had to wait in line outside to get in for at least an hour. I got a nosebleed in the process. 8)

I wish I would've known, I'd have been all "...hey." I was in the same boat, it was me (big awkward white guy with a fro, blue pinstripe pants, I Believe in Harvey Dent shirt) hanging with another tall guy with a slight beard and Decpticons shirt and a short raven haired girl with glasses (my girly face lady) If you were in the 12:05 theater, it was my friend Ryan that went "CHENAL 9 SUCKS!!!" during the pre movie announcement.

Well, I'm set to go in about 15 hours (or 13 rather, cuz my buddy wants to wait in line for good seats). I'll have my full (and most likely glowing) review later. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Only saw one person in a Harvey Dent shirt, so spidey sense tells me, perhaps had to be you. Not sure at all which theater we were in, was number 11, though not sure of the time frame of it. The auctioning off of the lobby posters has my attention. Oh, and yeah, CHENAL 9 sucks extremely. Too bad didn't hear that, would have been in total agreement.

Wish I would've known beforehand you'd be there. We could've discussed poop or something o.O

I just came back from viewing it and I am amazed. Tired (it's almost 5 am here) but amazed.
The movie turned out better than expected. I kept thinking they were going to end the film on a cliff hanger because there were so many twists and turns. What a brilliant piece of filmaking, this might be the best superhero movie I've ever seen. It made me a little sad that Heath Ledger, in a role of a lifetime, isn't around to take a bow for this. God rest his soul.
Highly recommended. Oh and who knew Tiny 'Zeus' Lister would have such a pivotal role in the film! I don't want to spoil anything but that was one of many great and powerful moments.
I feel like a smurfin kid again lol. I'm totally buying a Dark Knight related shirt this weekend. WOOOO!

Saw it last night on the IMAX. It's The Empire Strikes back. Its a comic book. It's a graphic novel that goes up and down and starts up again. It is Batman. I never thought much of Heath Ledger but now I feel like I lost a friend. Poor poor poor Harvey and poor Bruce he really thought he was going to have love. But haven't we all?

Oh why does the UK have to wait until next Thursday? There's advanced screenings on Wednesday where I live but it costs £12.50. But I've got a film card so I'm seeing if I can get in for free. Plus one of my friends works there so it might be OK.

The film is now currently #4 on IMDB's Top 250) According to they're weird ass rating system it is, but really the movie rating is above any other. But yeah it'll go down. Im about to leave soon to see it... ;D

I seriously hope they let it run long enough to beat Titanic, because it could if they do. They'll let it run as long as it needs too. Beating Titanic will have nothing to do with the studio. If it's still pulling in the big bucks and climbing they'll let it go. If it's around 350-400M and only making $1,000 a day... they won't just keep it in theaters for years to come to reach $600M. It's all on the legs and fans, not the studio. We have two theaters here in Greenville. One 14 screen and one 12 screen. We went to the 14 screen and at first they only had two screens set for the Dark Knight midnight showing. Both those sold out in advance sells though, so they opened up more. They ended up having 6 screens being used for it! I don't know what was going on at the other theater. Since the 14 screen one opened up this is the first time I've had it be backed up and people lined up. "Batman" moments I loved (possible spoilers!) : 1) Actually saving people falling from rooftops *coughBatmanReturnscough* 2) Clearly seeing him beat the ever loving crap out of everyone. The editing on the fights was much better than in Begins. 3) "You don't have me high enough to kill me", "That's the plan" BROKEN LEGS! 4) Showing up at crime scenes to do some detective work like in the bank vault and at the apartment. I just hope in the next one Wayne Manor has finished being built and we get the Bat Cave again. They implied it was almost done in this one and he blew up and/or cleaned out all the crap in his current hideout. Also, I love how Joker kept lying and changing his origin just like he does in the comics. End Spoilers.

I just got back from seeing it, and that movie was awesome, down to EVERY detail. NOTHING was in it that I had a single gripe over.

I only had the watchmen preview and a Harry Potter teaser when I went last night...
I went in full Joker make up, stood in line for 8 hours and I just found out I was on the local news last night at 11

Just saw it.
Out of 10 I give the film an 9.
And Im going to catch heat for this but Ledger did a good not great oscar job of the Joker. I think the only reason people are saying that is because he's dead and they are Batman fans.
