Crap, what a boring show. The made for TV movies and mini series categories went on forever.
Huge highlight was actor Don Rickles. The way he skipped on the scripted stuff for him on the prompter when he presented an award and did his own stuff owned. Why write comedy for someone funnier that you?
Ricky Gervais too. Funny s***.
Rest...meh!

All I have to say is that awards shows do not need to delve into politics.
And Christina Applegate looked lovely as always.

I hated how the network that hosted the event won emmys in categories it should not have.

The show was boring, but I'm happy that 30 Rock walked away with a few wins.

Hugh Laurie is great and all, and he'll probably win a slew more, but Cranston winning showed that some people in the Emmys aren't completely certifiable. THEN they turn around and don't give the Wire any Emmys. Not one. Greatest show on television, zero Emmys. Not even a "thanks for all the memories" Best Achievement in Sound or whatever. They suck, they don't know good television. The Emmys wouldn't know a good show if it met it at a bar, drugged it, and had their way with it. Idiots. Pure and Simple. It's not an opinion, it's a fact, the Wire not getting any love from Emmys prove that nobody in the Emmys actually watches the shows that are nominated. Morons! GOD! I'm choking on my own rage.
