Metallica did sting's WCW theme? Yea, Metallica did one of Sting's WCW themes. Seek and Destroy, I think that's what it was called. Even though it's an awesome version of the song it never sounded good when Sting came out to it. My theory is that live versions of songs tend not to be as well produced as studio tracks since you can't mic a live venue as well as you could a studio. Plus a it was an outdoor venue so a lot of noise goes out into ether. Then you play that over a PA in another large arena....

Keep in mind, Sting using Seek and Destroy...uh, that was released in 1983 on Metallica's first album. But I gotta go with Motorhead. Line in the Sand (Evolution's theme) is still one of my favorite songs ever, not just from wrestling themes. Fixed.

Has to be Motorhead for the sheer fact that Lemmy is God.
The Dudley's theme was good too (the "Drop the Bombshell" one), I head it in the movie EVOLUTION, so I consioder that a "real" song.

It is a real song bro, its by Powerman 5000. My personal favorite has to be "Out of My Way" by: Seether, it was used by Zach Gowen. One that deserves a mention is Run DMC's DX song: "The Kings". And Kane's is done by Finger Eleven (before they sucked), and it wasn't too bad.

Megadeth did a song for Goldberg. I've always loved them.

Megadeth did a song for Goldberg. I've always loved them. Look, I love Megadeth as much as a hetero male can, but honestly? Crush 'Em is the worst song Megadeth has ever done. Everyone I know agrees with this.

While I disagree on your opinion of Megadeth's worst song, I agree with your opinion of Metallica's best. Therefore, I agree to neither agree or disagree with you. I nothing you!

Motorhead wins, for Line in the Sand.
And whomever picked Bombshell, you'd be thinking of Powerman 5000. Great band to see live, though their new stuff really, really sucks. Off subject, they did a great cover of Good Times Roll. :-D

Whoever it was who did Big Van Vader's early theme:
This song was also featured on the Beavis and Butthead episode where they huff paint thinner and destroy Mr Anderson's house.

Derringer by ten thousand miles... As awesome as Motorhead are, they just performed the themes. Metallica & others probably got a crapload of money for the rights, so that doesn't count as an actual "wrestling theme". If we count regular music used as theme, then Richard Strauss should win. Or Beethoven... To be fair, though, Derringer might not of written it, either. Didn't Jimmy Hart end up coming up with virtually everyone's music back then?
