Punk/Jericho - Rage in the Cage!

Good Raw tonight ... aside from the woman's abomination.

Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk (World title Cage Match): This was good/solid TV cage match.

I'd say Raw was slightly better than last week. The way they are trying to make the womens division about Candice is a big miss.

And Beth was made to look stupid twice.

Jericho v Punk was much better than the usual tv match so it has to be that.

Yeah, I've thought they were stupid as hell since I was five.

"To make sure nobody interferes we're going to put this match in a thirty foot high steel cage that nobody can get into unless they figure out were this unlocked door is!"

At that point I half expected what authority figurehead was in charge announcing this at the time to throw down a smoke pellet and stumble over the lighting cables making his escape. It was THAT stupid, and I don't know about you but whenever I made my way to the basketball court I used the door instead of climbing over the fence. Infinitely easier.

I always wanted the final match in which that retarded door was utalized as an option to have one guy trying to climb out and the other guy look at him with a smirk and just walk out the door then casually walk around to the guy as he's climbing over, grab the title, and flick him off.

Cage match. Definitely.

I mean, what else was there? A terrible Candice Michelle match... JBL squashing Tommy Dreamer... a pretty silly six-man tag (Jim Haas was funny, but Charlie should drop the disguise when the match starts. I just can't take him seriously.)... a quick popcorn break between Jamie and Paul... and the main event, which had a couple nice spots (like Rey's ribs meeting the ring post) and a worthless ending.

Wrestling wise, this was not a good show. But being there live was extremely fun nonetheless, I must say...

Cage match wins by default. It wasnt even that good. Seemed very slow paced and terrible ending between two guys who I thought could have really gave us a great match.

Cage match by a long way, although a couple more big spots would've have hurt. The rest of the matches weren't any great shakes; Mysterio/Kane was okay, but should've been a far more intense brawl type match considering the nature of their feud.

Jillian VS Candice was awesome.



I drank to much and it was just fun laughing at all the crap during the match.




Also the fact that Jillian was singing before and after the commercial. I'm surprised nobody in the audience tried to shoot her.
