It is now officially 51 degrees inside my house, during a Wisconsin winter. I'm taking care of the household while the family is away on vacation, and when they return, we were all going to replace the furnace with a new one. Well, I guess ol' Burny didn't have one more week left in 'im, because the motor is done. I happened around midnight last night, when my house was still seventy degrees, and has already dropped twenty degrees.
So now, I have to keep the house warmed up by turning on the oven and opening it a crack (something we haven't had to do since I was five years old), and tracking down a couple of space heaters.
...Right now, I'm shivering my cajones off, delivering this message to you. The oven is on right now, and is making the house smell like french fries, which is...just great, actually.
Anyhoo, if I don't post anymore, ever, its because I've frozen to death.

Fire. I've heard fire is a cure-all in cold weather.

, mang. I still can't believe we made it through three months without heat (September-early January, I think) a couple years ago. When're they coming back?
