I got a new job stocking from 10 to 6 at night in a grocery store. It is about twenty or thirty minutes away from where I live but it pays about 9 to 10 dollars an hour so I don't mind. I'm incredibly cheap so that is like a fortune to me. Some of you might remember back when I said I quit my job at a movie theater. They were paying me minimum wage there and pulling all kinds of illegal crap so I just couldn't stay there anymore. Looking for a job really made me realize how bad our economy is right now. It took over a month for me to get a job and applied about everywhere short of fast food places. The best part is this will be the first job where I don't have to wear a uniform or deal with customers. Yesss!!! The only bad part about it is that I have to drive right though the ghetto of Kansas City to get there so I'm gonna be hoping my car doesn't go out.

well done i laughed at the last bit No seriously. It is freaking scary down there late at night. lol The funny thing is that the grocery store I work at. On one side of it there are all these nice million dollar houses. On the other side is the ghetto with all these old ran down houses. It is messed up.

I just got a job as well. I've been unemployed for just over 6 months, and my unemployment runs out the week before I start my new job, heh. But, I get to sit at home and do tech support for $14/hr so I'm happy
