Roy Williams knew what he would be getting into when going to Dallas. I mean come on, what did he expect from a team where the Tight Ends and Running Backs get more passes thrown at them than the wide receivers? That he would instantly become their #1 receiver? He has a valid point though. Dallas traded (wasted?) those picks to get him, and he doesn't get near a sniff that T.O. gets, meanwhile Owens whines and cries and drops passes and drops passes, and drops passes. Seriously he's second only to Braylon Edwards this year. He was at it again earlier in the week griping about the offense, and not getting ' a buncha balls' thrown his way. When someone pointed out his over two hundred yard day against the Niners, he told them he ONLY caught seven passes. Williams has a ways to go before he's in Owens league of complainery. Owens needs to learn it's not about how many catches you get, it's about how many meaningful catches you get. I'd rather have 2 catches and 2 TD's (or 4 catches, all of which go to first downs on scoring drives) and my team win the game, then have 15 catches with 0 TD's and 77 yards all while I can't get myself open when we need a big 3rd down conversion and we lose the game.

No wonder they call it the No Fun League. Yeah, that's pretty sad. He gets fined for that but players who are supposed to be suspended get an injunction from a judge to play? **Does facepalm** And the kicker is that Wes Welker got fined EXACTLY the same amount Shaun Ellis did for throwing a snow mound on top of fans after the Jets lost to the Seahawks. Sure, word is that the fans were being jerks and throwing snow balls, but that's not as bad as throwing a snow mound on top of their heads. And yet Welker makes an innocent little snow angel and gets fined 5 figures.

I disagree, as a fan, I would rather see more balls thrown to Terrell or Roy and see more exciting plays to get them involved rather than a small amount of catches during the game having only little amount of effect. I would rather see the 10 catches, 100+ yards anyday And most of the time, if they do it right, the Boys usually win

NFL.com's Adam Schefter suggests that this could be WLB Derrick Brooks' last season in Tampa Bay.

I'm talking about what is more important to win a game. As an example, give me 7 catches for Smitty when those catches end up winning the day over forcing the ball to him 15 times and making us lose because we are one dimensional any day. Also, what I said is meaningful catches are way more important then total catches. I don't really see how you can argue that as it's not really an opinion, it's just a fact. Of course if he has a 15 catch, 200 yard, 2 td game that's great, but that's not what I'm talking about.

Football is a team sport, thusly it is your ability to help the team that really matters. I mean look at the Steelers for a good chunk of years. Jerome Bettis is one of the best running backs in the team history, but it wasn't because of the yards he gained...on a good day he would break 50 yards in a game. The reason he is looked at as one of the best was his ability to gain those needed short yards like 3rd & 1. He also has 91 career rushing TDs, most he gained from these short yard runs of his. But, he really wasn't all that exciting to watch.

I know football is a team sport, but I still love watching guys individually dominate a game (Peyton, Bush, Vick) It's great entertainment, it makes up for weather a team wins or loses
As much as I would love the Boys to win the Superbowl or make the playoffs, I would rather watch us lose an exciting game against the Eagles (like the one we had earlier this year) rather than a borefest were we barley win

It's bittersweet to think that this could be McNabb's last game in Philly this week (depending on how he plays). 2008 could be the end of two eras in Philly sports of players who were underwhelming and never lived up to their potential and paychecks. Although, at least Burrell had the decency to bring home a title.

You'd rather see your team lose in exciting fashion than to see them win a boring game? If you want to go by "exciting game", take one guess how I felt when the Colts had that comeback win against the Texans. Hint: It wasn't me going "Well, at least it was exciting".

The Texans and Cowboys are my favorite teams in football. That game against the Colts was amazing. The fact Sage was able to hang with Manning was pretty surreal. The Colts needed the win more anyways....it's not like we had a shot at the playoffs anyway As long as you were entertained, your time wasn't wasted

Don't kid yourself, we started 0-3 in the same division as the Colts and Titans
The same reason you should be entertained watching Shawn Micheals nearly winning back the WHC in a ladder match at No Mercy

Don't kid yourself, we started 0-3 in the same division as the Colts and Titans Coming from the guy who believes the Cowboys are one of the (if not THE) best teams in the league. Right... After the Colts debacle and Schaub returns, the Texans win the next 3 games, and then a cheap shot by Jared Allen forces Rosenfels back in the starting spot, where we lose the next 3 games, including the Colts again. FINALLY Sage gets his act together and gets wins against the Browns and Jaguars. Schaub comes back from his injury and beats the Packers and Titans. If Schaub is with the team the entire season, I'd say the Texans would've had a great shot at the playoffs. Sorry to disappoint you, but I was NOT entertained in the least. It was probably the most upset I'd ever been. There was not ONE Texans fan who was satisfied with the Rosenfels chokejob because it was "entertaining". Colts fans, yes. Texans fans, no.

You're looking at this to intently And I do believe the Cowboys are the best team in the league, it's hard to dispute that, although you can't factually prove it either way
Then you've lived a really nice life thus far
Colts are a great team to watch, but I'm always gonna be a true Texans fan. I was more than satisfied with the game and our entire season in general for that matter
There is no reason to start going emo just because your favorite teams doesn't win, life and sports isn't always about winning

For the record, the most I've been upset about my team, not life in general. And yes, I have lived a nice life thus far. True? What "true" fan is satisfied with a loss? There's no such thing. Hell, I've played football, and NOBODY on my team was satisfied with a loss. EVER. Unless you're the kind of guy that loves "moral" victories. And where did the whole "emo" thing come from? Just because I get upset when my team plays like crap? If I don't show any emotion when my favorite team plays, then I wouldn't be a fan. Don't give me that whole "winning isn't everything" crap. I never said it was. I just want to see my favorite teams give it their all every week.
