Well, since the thread said of choice, I went with Ham. I love a good ham, especially the way my dad makes it with a great glaze and pineapples and cherries.
With that said, we usually end up with turkey as my sister doesn't like ham. Besides, this year my dad got a $15 cert from work for Butterball.
Ah well, we got a big tenderloin for $1.69 a pound at the grocery and he cut a roast off for me to slow cook on New Year's with some sauerkraut. Apparently pork roasts and sauerkraut or hot dogs and sauerkraut for New Year's is a Pennsylvania Dutch thing, but more people should do it. Whip some mashed potatos with it and just dump the saurkraut right on top. YUM!

The Christmas ham, what better way to celebrate the birth of the Baby Jesus than by eating the food he was forbidden to eat.

The Christmas ham, what better way to celebrate the birth of the Baby Jesus than by eating the food he was forbidden to eat. You really don't want to go that route.

The only meat at my lunch/dinner was ham.
We had ham, corn on the cob, stuffing, vegetables, and mini-croissants.

Turkey for Christmas morning. Sometimes alternating with a big ol slab of honey covered ham.
What a week. Grandmas birthday was on tuesday and we had snow crab legs and lobster tails with french fries then honey ham for christmas eve and turkey for christmas morning.

I love ham and turkey, but I never get to eat duck, so when I do, it's great.
