While you said nothing about another Bruce Willis movie, I vote for A Christmas Story. Now you just have to come up with 14 more. I got 1 more list overnight, bringing the grand total of 5. I'd like to get at least 10, so please keep them coming.

Bumping this up. I have 5 lists now, with 49 different specials/movies nominated. The top vote getter so far is leading with 51pts and the closest runner up is trailing by 14pts.
There are a couple omissions so far that I'm surprised about, as well as a couple I'm surprised were remembered. Still plenty of time to get your lists in.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! An update: * Two more lists came in, bringing our grand total to seven. I'd like to get at least ten, so if you haven't sent in your picks you have three more days to do so. * There looks to be a clear Number 1, but there are only two points separating 2 and 3, and two points separating 3 and 4. * There are a couple of cult classics that deserve a bit more love, but we'll see how the rest of the votes unfold. * So far there are 57 different titles nominated, so this will definitely be a Top 50 countdown. Added mine, sorry I only could find 10 that I remember seeing. That's fine. If you think of five more, send them along. If not, don't worry about it, your top ten still counted.

Quick, everyone, let's skew the results. Everyone yet to vote, put The West Wing - Abu el Banat in your top 3

Another bump. I have several ties right now, so hopefully I'll get a few more lists in.

Clear No. 1, eh? I wonder which one it is.
Dear god I hope it's not A Christmas Story. I hated that movie so much with a passion.

48 hours left to vote. At this point, if anyone wants to just send a Top 10 list they can go right ahead.

Added one more list. I'd like to get at least two more lists by midnight tomorrow, so you have one more day to make your votes count. Update: * Number 1 is way ahead. 25 points ahead of number two. * Numbers 2,3 and 4 are each separated by a point. * The current number three is very surprising, as its not often mentioned as a "classic". * There is a huge bottleneck in the bottom half of the list. I currently have a 4-way tie for 27th. If you've already sent me a list, remember that you can post them here as well (your vote only counts once, though. ).

Is this the one where they have the Muppets, Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock in the same special? If so then I concur.
Some of my faves:
Any South Park Christmas special especially Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo, Mr Hankey's Christmas classics, and Woodland Critter Christmas (really loved that one)
The 1976 Christmas episode of All in the Family titled "The Draft Dodger".
The original animated How The Grinch Stole Christmas narrated by Boris Karloff
A Charlie Brown Christmas
The original Frosty the Snowman and Frosty's Winter Wonderland
Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer
Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July.
Santa Clause is Coming to Town
It's a Wonderful Life
A Christmas Carol (1938 film)
A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All
and for our Jewish friends, The Hebrew Hammer
Sorry if this is more than you wanted but I was on a roll

Overnight I received five more lists, bringing the grand total to 13. There's been a lot of movement in the standings. * After having a clear number one for most of the week, there is now a tie. Both titles stand at 92 points. The next runner up stands at 74 points. * There are now 76 different nominees (I'm still only doing a Top 50 though). * I'm thinking of combining two similar nominations... * Number 76 on the list stands at a measly one point. Oddly enough, its a pretty well known title. Twelve more hours left to vote.

30 minutes left. Anyone who hasn't sent me a list, please do so now. Number one could still go either way and the top ten is very close.
