Honestly, it's already Christmas and I suddenly have an urge to rant. Well, in any case, methinks I always had a positive, or at the very least, weird attitude here, and in real life. However, there are days when I have to get something off my chest, so here goes...
My back hurts. I'm serious, by the way. As some of you may know, I have Ankylosing spondylitis, so it's pretty much certain that my back hurts all day, every day. While this doesn't bother me at all... well it's true that I'm ranting but in any case both statements are true: it doesn't bother me if I'm thinking about the big picture, I'm not really interested in most physical activity; and that my back hurts a lot and I want to rant about it. Hell, most of the extra-hurt is due to the cold -- this is what I don't like; when I was a wee lad I liked the cold, I still do, but my entire body/bones is uncomfortable that I have a hard time sleeping at night. That's the main reason I'm ranting; it's cold, and I can't sleep.
Well, sorry about the rant~

See, this is why I try to keep my kidney stones in perspective.
As bad as they hurt as often as they do most of the time I feel fine.
I couldn't imagine constant, nagging agony like that.
I'm sorry, I;ll pray for you man.

You best be sorry.
You can always get an electric blanket to help keep you wrapped in warmth.

On top of Meat's electric blanket idea, you can also get heating pads and these things called "Bed Buddies" which are these little things you put in the microwave and warm up then wrap them around whatever is bothering you.
My dad has some bad back problems, and my mom has neck problems and that's some of the stuff they use.

My ex girlfriend made me a sock filled with rice. You can microwave it, and I use it on my damaged knees. Since I'm limited to a cane most days, it helps limit the throbbing and stabbing sensation.
That, Icy-Hot works well (just make sure you wash your hands THOROUGHLY before you go to the bathroom... last time I'll ever make that mistake!), as does the ice-brace I was given post surgery to help keep the swelling down. I try to rotate those.
I mean, yeah, my knees still buckle at least once a day, but hey, at least it's not twice...

Thanks for all the suggestions~ Honestly, though, I'm surprised that I actually posted this rant last night.

Ranting's good, it helps you get things off your chest.I do it fairly often. Not on here so much, but I still do it.
I read about your condition. It does sound painful, and I'm sorry you have to put up with it.
