The other day I was rummaging through a box of old VHS crap and stumbled upon a film I remember seeing when I was young called Munchie (1992). There's absolutely no Wikipedia entry on this film so bear with my summary. Apparently it's an indirect sequel to the horror film Munchies with a plot very similar to that of Gremlins. Anyway, this film is a family comedy that has absolutely nothing to do with the first and is only a sequel due to the name. Munchie is about a boy named Gage (Seriously? What kinds of a name is that?) who finds a magical creature named Munchie (voiced by Dom DeLuise) who tries to fix all of Gage's problems (evil step father, bullies, evil principal, getting the cute girl in school, etc). Munchie's dialogue is a never ending series of almost groan worthy punchlines. So that's the movie in a nutshell. It's not terrible and it would probably be a good movie from a child's perspective. I really enjoyed this film when I was young and it was neat to watch it well over a decade later. Has anyone else here seen this film?

Honestly I think I'd have to incredibly drunk or dead to watch a movie like that.

The look on Loni's face pretty much screams ' I was on WKRP and now I'm in this.. what happened?'
