I got this idea after stumbling upon a site featuring helmets from fictional football teams: www.misterhabs.com/TV_movie.htmThe Associated Football Franchises of America by the way is from the movie "Any Given Sunday". Any league that I don't have the full name for, I've listed as simply the name of the TV show or movie.

The League from the new Blitz games...very detailed backstory on all the teams and very unique and realistic individual players...

I demand more Playmakers love.
Mutant League's a close second, though. Razor Kid FTW.

Playmakers was friggin' awesome and felt real.
Too real, because that was the death of it.
Shame.

I gotta agree with "The League" from Blitz. The stories behind the teams and the behaviors of the players and their coaches came out on the field. I remember seeing a vid of one teams RB being a knockdown dragout badass and just assumed, like Madden, they'd almost ignore the guy and move on...and I got my ass kicked because of this one guy.

Loved Playmakers, still have the theme on my Itunes (I'am the incredible man!). But I had to vote for the AFFA, from Any Given Sunday. Any league that has Charlton Heston as its Comissioner is great.

If I ever have the chance, I would like to do mods for "Madden 08" (if any prior "Madden" games haven't done this already) on the PC (via Text Mod): Canadian Football League mod:
NCAA mod:

Mutant League. You get to KILL other players.
The League in the Blitz games is also good for allowing dirty playing.

I bet Vince McMahon wishes it were only fictional.
