I don't even think Drago was a heel, he actually had a good heart inside that robot body of his. He was just a tool of them damn Russkies. Clubber, on the other hand, TOTAL heel. I don't see how that's even a question. Clubber was an a-hole to everybody he talked to. LOL I don't know. Drago was a cold blooded killer as far as I'm concerned. "If he dies, he dies", I mean, come on now.... What would you think about someone who conducted a post fight interview like that?

Yep, Clubber was definately a heel. I think some of the posters in this thread are kinda like the way Bret Hart described American fans rooting for Steve Austin back in the day. "American fans wanted to get involved...and they wanted to play the role of the bad guy!" I think Steve Austin's fans KNEW he was a f***ing villain...and I think people know Clubber was a f***ing villain...but they also want to kinda get involved and also play the role of the villain.
While I actually like Ivan Drago, and don't think that everything that happened in Rocky IV was his fault, he's still a heel. He could have STOPPED pounding Apollo...he KNEW he'd beaten him, but he just kept going. That makes him a heel. Sure, it's not all his fault that he was probably trained to act that way...but he should have had consiousness enough to know when to stop...when he's beating a man to death.

AND it was an exhibition, a fight that was for charity and the results wouldn't even be on either man's pro record. And it was for no money, I don't think.

He didn't do anything nice or likeable-therefore he was a total heel
