So what do my fellow crappers do for confidence(don't give me drinking and such) but genuine things you do that help you out whether it's dealing with women or facing the world in general-being comfortable in your own skin and expressing yourself?

no, I listen to Operation: Mindcrime by Queensryche, Dam that River by Alice in Chains or Running with the Devil by Van Halen. Something that makes me walk with a swagger.

You, sir, are a winner. But to answer the OP's question, I have to stay a gym rat, or else I become a nervous, un-confident wreck. It's not pretty when I don't allow myself the natural endorphin boost. And the working out makes me feel better looking in the mirror and less self conscious about myself physically. Since so many people let TV train them to be very surface-conscious of others, I find that an improved physical appearance allows me to be more comfortable and confident otherwise. If people are going to be shallow, then what I say is less important than how I say it. I am socially awkward when not in a comfort zone (location, or subject matter, or people), but I can parlay my physical comfort into more comfort and then confidence.

I just think about what I've done in my life, like beating a heroin addiction, recovering far beyond what the doctors predicted, walking again in the future, inspirational stuff (okay, maybe I'm the only one who thinks it's inspirational) I've done that not everyone else has.
Also, I remember how unique I am as a person and that I am the only one in the world like me.I am the only Strotha, I always have been, and I always will be.I am who I am, and nothing can take that away from me.

Hmm...
if getting some isn't a viable option/good enough, then I'd probably say helping other people out.
I find it very therapeutic. The good feeling of giving a hand to a friend is gonna make you feel better with yourself too.
The only problem is that, over time, it could get tiresome/frustrating, especially if/when you become the Official Go-to-Guy. So be there, but sparingly [it's an oxymoron, I know...]
But otherwise, chicks are THE way to go. Friends are less time-consuming and definitely less of a chore to find/maintain.
Bottom line: Social Interaction > anything else

A little offtopic, but the more I think about it, Strotha is actually a pretty slick name... I wouldn't mind naming a future kid Strotha methinks. But maybe that's just me.

Think of a previous positive experience that is related to my current position.
Try to make others feel good about themselves.
If all else fails I just fake it, good body language and eye contact helps.
