yeah, it bothers me that Utah only got to the Cotton Bowl. wtf? make that Sugar...to many f'n games to keep track of Well... If they, and Boise for that matter, were to join PAC 10, they would have a shot at the National title. That, or Boise State could join the Pac-10, and Utah & TCU could join the Big XII. Utah to the North, and TCU to the South.

If Utah got ranked #1 in all the polls, what would happen? Would the Oklahoma/Florida winner have to share the trophy with them like USC and LSU did a few years back?

This is why we need to invent 3-way football: BCS Title Utah vs: Texas (if they beat Ohio St.) vs: Oklahoma/Florida winner. Or just have a playoff system. Sadly, I think as long as the BCS exists (and the Big 10 and Pac 10 commissioners get their head out of their ass) we have a better chance of seeing 3-way football than a playoff system.

TCU and something like Houston goes to the South.

But yeah, ever since Nebraska stopped being the powerhouse they were, the North has been the South's bitch. However, I don't see them doing that, cause there is just too much money to be made off of OU/Texas. I think the better solution is kick Iowa State and Colorado out of the North, move OK State to the North, and add Tulsa to the North. And then put TCU in the slot OK State left open. That way the Big XII would be: North - Nebraska - Kansas - Kansas State - Missouri - Oklahoma State - Tulsa South - Oklahoma - Texas - Texas Christian - Texas Tech - Texas A&M - Baylor And then they just schedule OU & OK State for each year as the last game in the regular season for each team.

Well I mean, Colorado has sucked in many of the recent years, and Tulsa went almost undefeated. Granted they played bad teams most of the time, but let's see what they could do in the Big XII.

Pretty much all the years before they made the Big XII. Also, think of it like this, I can't think of any other North team to kick out besides Colorado and Iowa State. Kansas State is decent, and Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri are good teams.

It's true they have had some down years but they had some really good years before that. If you're going to get rid of a team based on that,I'd get rid of Baylor before Colorado. Plus as a person who follows Conference USA closely,I don't think Tulsa would do well in the Big XII. They would do no better than Colorado.

I'd say either Houston or Rice.

Making them have a championship game. Adding Boise and Utah to PAC makes them have 12, making them have a championship.

So we'd still need two teams. One for the North and one for the South..... Hmm.....I'd say either Rice or Houston for the South and then pick a team from Oklahoma(like Tulsa) or a team from Kansas.
