For the second straight week in a row Oklahoma has the biggest game of the week. It'll decide whether or not Texas Tech goes to the Big XII Championship uncontested.
If OU wins, it'll be a 3-way tie and all kinds of chaos. If OU loses, Tech is going to the championship.

Go Baylor. It'll make things easier for Texas.

The team ranked highest after next week will move on to face Missouri. Most analysts and fans think Texas Tech is not going to be ranked above OU or Texas due to the magnitude of their loss to Oklahoma. Therefore, it will come down to Texas and Oklahoma. Texas's argument is that they beat Oklahoma head-to-head. Oklahoma hopes to be able to argue momentum, especially after their win over Texas Tech but they would like to also have a win against Oklahoma State to add to their argument.

Texas's argument is that they beat Oklahoma head-to-head. Oklahoma hopes to be able to argue momentum, especially after their win over Texas Tech but they would like to also have a win against Oklahoma State to add to their argument. No, it really is just Tech and OU at this moment. If Tech loses to Baylor then Texas goes uncontested(cause of the head to head win over OU), but that is not likely to happen at all, so it comes to scenario #2, OU beating OK State and Tech beating Baylor. If OU wins, it'll be a three way tie and then it'll be down to Texas and OU, but if OU lose to OK State, Tech will go to the Big XII Championship. Why? Because Texas and Tech will be the only 11-1 teams in the Big XII South, and Tech holds the tiebreaker over Texas, so if OU loses and Tech wins, Tech is going. If OU wins, it'll be down to OU/Texas, and as I stated in a PM to Powerline, if OU wins, they should go over Texas. Why? Look at this: - Texas and Tech both played 4 ranked teams this season and are 3-1, and OU is currently 3-1 against ranked opponents, but they have 1 more ranked opponent to face, OK State, and they are #12. - Texas' and Tech's win % against rank opponents is .750, but if OU wins OU will be 4-1 and thusly their win% against ranked opponents will be .800. Thusly, even though Texas won the head-to-head, OU's done better against ranked opponents, and has had an overall better strength of schedule. So really, OU/OK State will decide the fate of the Big XII South.

Assuming Texas Tech and Oklahoma both win next week, I don't see how Texas Tech could be ranked ahead of Oklahoma due to the enormity of their loss to them, so I would then think Oklahoma would go on to face Mizzou.
However, in the event of three way tie, I think the BSC rankings will be very hesitant to rank Oklahoma ahead of Texas due to the head-to-head. In most scenarios, I think Oklahoma would be ranked ahead of Texas (the AP poll and other polls DO have OU over Texas), but in a 3-way tie then suddenly the BCS rankings have huge implications and I don't know if they would rank OU over Texas just due to head-to-head. Of course I could be wrong and think Oklahoma is certainly the hotter team who would have a better chance against Florida/Alabama.
Edit: I really don't care who goes. I will admit that it will be very hard to keep Oklahoma ranked below Texas if OU beats Oklahoma State, even with that head-to-head loss. Oklahoma looks like they are going to make it hard on those who do the rankings.

Here's something to think about. In the current BCS, Texas and Oklahoma are 2 and 3. Say they don't lose another game, one of them goes to beat Missouri in the Big XII title game. Let's say Alabama gets tripped up against Auburn, then beats Florida in the SEC title game. Oregon St. wins their last game to be Pac-10 champ, diminishing a lot of USC's claim. Do Texas and Oklahoma have a rematch in the BCS title game? True that's a lot of things that have to fall just right (or wrong) but look at how the last couple of weeks played out last year. The possibility (however slim) is there.

But on the other hand, it is hard to argue that Texas and OU are two of the best(if not the two best) teams in the NCAA right now, so it would be somewhat unfair to discriminate due to conference.

IF Alabama were to lose to Auburn, but win the SEC Championship, I still think they would let them go to the national championship game, though it wouldn't feel right due to the some team potentially having a strong case to be there instead. I guess the same is true of Florida if they lost to Florida State and then beat Alabama. However, SEC schedules are the toughest in all of college football in my view.

So, if the AL vs AU game is on cbs on sat. Does that mean that it will be on all over the U.S.? Or just in this region? I'm gonna be in maryland, and i really want to watch it.

I think it broadcasts everywhere, perhaps except on the west coast, but I'm not sure. I think ABC and CBS games are pretty uniform.

But on the other hand, it is hard to argue that Texas and OU are two of the best(if not the two best) teams in the NCAA right now Add Florida to that list. I'm a big Georgia Bulldogs fan and even I have to admit that looking at the way they've been playing since their loss to Ole Miss, I don't think there's a team in the entire NCAA that can stop them.

I think the AP and USA Today were posted yesterday, but here's the BCS rankings. As I predicted, the BCS did not put Oklahoma above Texas unlike AP and USA Today because so much is riding on the rankings in the event of a 3-way tie. Personally, I think unranked Ole Miss could beat many of the teams from 12 to 25.
1. Alabama 11-0 2. Texas 10-1 3. Oklahoma 10-1 4. Florida 10-1 5. USC 9-1 6. Utah 12-0 7. Texas Tech 10-1 8. Penn State 11-1 9. Boise State 11-0 10. Ohio State 10-2 11. Georgia 9-2 12. Oklahoma State 9-2 13. Missouri 9-2 14. TCU 10-2 15. Ball State 11-0 16. Cincinnati 9-2 17. Oregon State 8-3 18. BYU 10-2 19. Michigan State 9-3 20. Florida State 8-3 21. Boston College 8-3 22. Georgia Tech 8-3 23. Oregon 8-3 24. Northwestern 9-3 25. Pitt 7-3
