It's about an inbred family, isn't it?And the mother's missing body parts?I think I've seen it, but not for a long time.

Here's its Wikipedia page, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_(The_X-Files)I was never too big a fan of the X-Files to be honest, but I was reading about this episode earlier today, so figured I'd give it a watch. I can see why the episode would be considered controversial, but I really didn't find the episode so disturbing in its execution.

It creeped the hell out of me when I first watched it.
Definitely one of the most disturbing episodes, along with the already mentioned Chicken factory.
I've always been a bigger fan of the "random creepiness" episodes than of the whole Alien Conspiracy thing. The series started to go south with all the alien replicants, saucers etc

The thing that always ticked me off about the Alien Conspiracy stuff was that you get Hyper-Intelligent Aliens that have near unlimited power but somehow, they are not capable of removing 2 FBI Agents from the picture. They can eliminate threats from everybody else in society, but these two magical FBI agents are using the Contra Code to evade the Aliens wrath!

Yeah, I have Season 4 on DVD, so I have this one. Sort of had a Hills Have Eyes/Texas Chainsaw Massacre feel to it, with the inbred family.
