www.nme.com/news/the-stooges/41900This really sucks. As some of you might know, I am a huge fan of Iggy and The Stooges and Ron Asheton was one of my favorite guitar players. RIP Ron.

I'm sorry to hear the news, I'm a big fan as well.
The Stooges were at their best with Ron on guitar, and Iggy never had a better guitar player.
EDIT: That other band he was in was cool too, but I can't remember the name of it right now. The one with the female singer...a little help someone?

Sad news, i'm really upset by this, Funhouse is my favourite record of all time, any self respecting music fan should have a copy

I thought this was about the Three Stooges RIP none the less. At first I did too but then I got to thinking just how old that show is and that its impossible for one of them to be 60...

That's the one! "You're Gonna Die" was a kick ass song, that was a cool record.

That sucks. They were one of the last 60s band that was still around. I'm glad I got into them before he passed on, but I wish I could've seen them live. The MC5 are dropping like flies too. This is such a shame...

This sucks, every punk band on the planet owes The Stooges tenfold.
