I know he'll possibly just go back to pantomiming Eddie, but I think it would work.

I hope they don't have him going back to being Rey as Eddy Lite but, do incorporate a lot of the Los Guerreros stuff.
That said, the pop he gets when he turns will be huge, IMO.

I think they're painting him as a completely incompetent heel the failed eddie chair spot is an example he's a bungleing heel. At best I could see him being Sgt. Schults to Vickies Col. Clink.

I would love to see Chavo get a face run. WWE has never ever given Chavo much of a chance to get over except when he was in a tag team with Eddie. Chavo has so much talent and they are wasting it the same way they were wasting Carlito's talent in the last two years.

I think they definately planted the seeds, with him being visibly irritated with Vickie shoving him into the match, and him looking like he was mulling over what Triple H said. Which, in effect seemed to be "You are better than this, Chavo."

I hope so. Chavo is infinitely more entertaining as a face than he is now.

I hope so, if only so we can see the entertaining sight of the 7 people actually cheering for him whilst everyone else takes a piss break.

I believe they tried that when they canned the Kerwin White gimmick and went back to being Chavo in late 05. He's decent, but honestly I don't see the guy being exactly as over as Eddie was ever.

Well I doubt anyone expected Chavo to become a main eventer, but he could be a decent mid-card babyface on Smackdown.

I think some were, but I don't really see much for him at this point personally apart from being Vickie's lacky.

I really like Chavo, I enjoyed his run with the ECW title, I see him as a throw back to the 80s sneaky cheat bad guy, I think his place is in ECW now, only there, but I do believe he could be given a good role there

Always loved Chavo, think he is one of the most underappreciated guys in the past 5-10 years and hope he wins the ECW title again soon.
