Is it worth watching? Don't you think watching around 12 HIAC matches will get boring after the third?
Is it worth watching in one day?

It has all of the cell matches except Taker/Bossman and Taker/Edge with introductions by Mick Foley. I say it is a definite buy. I watched mine in about a week. Pace yourself. These matches are intense.

I think they should have had the Taker/Bossman HIAC match in it just for the 'hanging'. For obvious reasons (Beniot) they didn't though. However to me the people who would complain just look for to much into it. It was a good angle even if it was a bit tasteless.
Also depends if you like HIAC obviously. Iam not a big fan of Cage matches or HIAC./ Watching one once in a while is OK. I bought the Steel Cage VHS an few years back it was interesting but only for one watch.

Well I've seen a few of the matches before
Undertaker vs. Mankind - Good, but more of a fight with a few spots then an actual wrestling match
Undertaker vs. Michaels - Seems good; saw match highlights
Undertaker vs. Orton - A bit slow paced but good
Armageddon Hell In A Cell - Good, but it's pretty short for a HIAC.

I think you just answered your own question there mate. They are good matches but nothing overly special or 'must buy' material. Usually more spot feasts than anything. Epically the Undertaker/Mankind and to a lesser degree Undertaker/Michaels match.

Does it have the matches from Raw way back in 1998?They seem like they'd be pretty pointless to include.

What about the Brock Lesnar vs Taker match (Half of these are Undertaker matches) In my opinion it's not only the best Hell in a Cell match, it's the best Taker match and the best Lesnar match. It's what the match should be, sheer brutality. And the blade job by Taker, is one of the sickest I can remember.

I bought this dvd set just last week.
I made the error of watching the entire thing through in one day (I was sick in bed....nothing better to do). I found myself not caring and bored by the time the second disc rolled around.
Since then, I've gone back and watched the dvd set over again...in full. But I limited my self to one disc per day. I found the dvd much more entertaining. Some of the matches do feel very short and...to me...it really shows how weak some matches were when compared to others.
I wish they had included the Austin/Kane match from KOTR'98. I know it wasn't scheduled to be a HIAC match and was a First Blood match. But, a good majority of the match occured in the HIAC after Paul Bearer had it lowered. It would have made the dvd feel more complete to me and accurate. I was kinda annoyed they even bothered to mention the Austin/Kane match on the dvd and only show a brief clip. Either show the entire damn match or don't even bring it up!
As for the leaving out of the Bossman/Taker match....I understand their reasoning. It wasn't a very good HIAC match anyway and I have it in the WM Anthology set. While it would have been nice for completion sake for it to be included on the dvd set....it also would put WWE in a potential bad situation.
And the reason why the Edge/Taker match from this year's Summerslam wasn't included is because it's already on the Summerslam dvd and also on the new Edge dvd (Decade of Decadence). It would have been too much had they put in the on HIAC dvd as well.....simply for the oversaturation of utilizing the match on 3 dvd releases that come out within mere months of each other. Again though, it would have been nice if it were on the HIAC dvd set because for the sake of completion.
Overall, I highly recommened buying the dvd. Just remember to pace yourself.

My problem with it was (and I watched it over the course of a weekend) it seemed like every match was the same. The first part its brawl around the cage, find an excuse to get out, brawl to the top, come back in for the finish. The second half its the same without the climbing to the top. Both guys always blade. Honestly I think its a fine set, and each match when watched on their own is fantastic, but they really tend to run together.
