The thing that really bugs me when it comes to DVDs is that being in the UK, every Wrestling DVD (Bar the Wrestlemania 1,2,3,4 Tagged Classics) is rated at least as a 15 (meaning people under 15 can't but it AT ALL) And ones with quite a bit of bllod (Mick Foley, Undertaker, Ladder Match) are 18s... yes they still bleep language and blur middle fingers...

When you open the new Legacy of Steve Austin DVD the picture inside is of Austin giving Mcmahon a middle finger. Very kid friendly.....

When you open the new Legacy of Steve Austin DVD the picture inside is of Austin giving Mcmahon a middle finger. Very kid friendly..... You don't have to open the set to see things that aren't family friendly with this release. On the back of the set is Austin wearing a shirt that uses a skull to spell "F*** FEAR" as well as a picture of Austin with his prop gun that said, "Bang 3:16" up to McMahon's head. However, I believe most of the middle-fingers were blurred on the DVD and I believe the word 'ass' may have been censored. I have so many DVDs it is hard to remember which ones were censored and which weren't.

I have noticed that they blur out the middle-finger now and bleep out certain words that used to be common in WWE. It's kind of funny how things that were so common back then are censored today, and I don't even want to try to articulate why. The WWE finally gave in to the FCC. FCC has no regulation over DVDs. Its WWE just trying to broaden its audience. The amount of kids and parents who buy the censored DVDs is tenfold that of adults who quit buying DVDs because of censorship.

I don't mind them toning down the current product but they should leave the memories alone.

On The Rock's dvd, I think in his matches with Austin at WM 15 and 19, Austin does his entrance, all middle fingers on the turnbuckles are blurred. He stomps Rock, flips off the referee, no blur. Rock mocks Austin by doing his taunts, again...no blur. Austin wins, flips off McMahon, blurred again. Stuff like that really annoys me.

It's definitely a major bain on the DVDs. It's worse though when they do it on 24/7, a channel that is clearly marketed to older fans.

I bet if they rereleased Fully Loaded 98 on dvd, theyd cover up sable's body paint bikini with floating santino heads (actually, that would be pretty cool).

From now on when a wrestler bleeds butterflies come flying out. I like. Where's Steven Richards when you need him?
