Anyone hear Bret on O and A this morning? I missed the first minute or two but it was a really good interview, with Bret promoting the book and answering some questions about Benoit, the Montreal screwjob, why he stopped wrestling, etc. It was a really good interview although O and A's post-interview comments on Bret were pretty accurate. About his demeanor due to the stroke.

They noted how detached he sounded. They said he was very polite but they had the feeling he could snap at any moment.

I wonder if Opie and Anthony are wrestling fans. They seem to have wrestlers on fairly often. They had a pretty damn funny interview with Triple H a few years back, with Triple h joking about accidentally revealing Steph a couple of times, like accidentally having a boob pop out during a pedigree.

Well I know that the infamous "Listen up f***head" comment by Michael Cole came either when him and Tazz were guest hosting or they are part of like a sirius or xm channel. Mick Foley has been a regular guest. I think they've had Austin on. Vince has been on the show too, I think, and is proportedly a big fan of Anthony's over-the-top impersonation of him ("Angry Vince").

Bret seemed very detatched and slow. He had a couple of run ons and made a couple of "jokes" that didnt make a lick of sense

They've had a pretty good relationship with the WWE although they admit not really watching the company in a couple of years. One of their interns is a big fan.
