Well, it seems like Undertaker's Wrestlemania opponent is still up in the air. But last night's segment with The Undertaker and Shelton Benjamin had me thinking...do you think that they would take this route and give us Shelton vs Taker? Or you think that was just a random segment?
Thoughts?

Well, it made Orton, so I support Shelton vs. Taker.
As much as I wanna see Taker vs. HBK, this could save Shelton's career.

I hope this isn't too much of a spoiler, but next week's Smackdown has a 20 minute match between the two of them.

But last night's segment with The Undertaker and Shelton Benjamin had me thinking...do you think that they would take this route and give us Shelton vs Taker? Or you think that was just a random segment? Thoughts? They needed to write Undertaker back in to the show after his hiatus, and needed him to be as far away from Edge, Vickie and Show as possible. So they put him near Shelton Benjamin. Clever. The midcard...where no one would ever think to look. I think we might get a match between the two on TV before the Rumble if they want to push Shelton in the Rumble and prepare him for another MitB loss down the road. Undertaker doesn't have anyone to work with right now, so Shelton is as good a placeholder as anyone for a couple weeks. It also could mean that someone is going over Shelton for the US Title in an upset, which would let him use Taker-related injuries as his excuse to get a rematch. If Shelton can talk like he did last night, then I'm all for the upward movement possibility. WWE has been waiting for the Gold Standard to turn the corner for a long time, and a program with Undertaker might help him do that.

Wouldn't hold my breath on that as they'll take care of this next week for certain and I don't think there's anyone who buys Shelton as someone who could end the streak.

Taker will fight Umaga at Wrestlemania and Shawn will fight JBL. Bank on it, HBK vs Taker won't happen at Wrestlemania until maybe the 26th but i dont see it. Theres no reason for it.

I think taker-umaga will be good but it will have a taker-henry feel. Okay let's get takero ut here so he can keep his streak alive and we can move on with the event already!

If anything could shoot Benjamin into the stratosphere, it would be a feud with the Undertaker, even if it's not a WM thing, and only goes to the February PPV.

Shelton Benjamin and Undertaker? I don't know, thats like saying: "Here hold this M80 and light it, and don't let it go!" It looks cool, it sounds cool, but you normally have a disappointing end result..did that even make sense?

I think this might be the start of a Main Event push for Shelton. I'm not a huge Shelton mark of nothin', but he's a damn good talent, he deserves it.

It will be HBK vs JBL at No Way Out, and Taker vs HBK at Mania BANK ON IT! Shetlon will be in the Money in the Bank and HOPEFULLY win

It would be good to see hm go over this time and get a shot to run with the ball. .

HBK vs Taker won't happen at Wrestlemania until maybe the 26th but i dont see it. Theres no reason for it. Except that the fans have wanted since the Rumble 2 years ago and Wrestlemania is in Texas where both men are from.

Who in the hell wants to see Taker/Shelton? It'd probably be the worst feud of all time on the mic and Shelton has no cred. Hell, he's ONLY started to get consistent heat.
They had built Orton up for years alongside two of the biggest stars in the E, so a feud with Taker wasn't too much of a stretch.

But I don't want to fall asleep in an Undertaker match Blasphemy... this has been one of my dream matches for at least the past 4 or 5 years. I guarantee they'd have an AMAZING match.

Shelton can do all the "amazing natural athleticism" spots in the world, unless he develops a personality and some storytelling ability to make me care about anything he does, I'll continue to doze off every time he appears.
