If he had the mentality of Hulk Hogan, then we're all doomed. What I mean is that Hulk Hogan always wanted to come out on top, and with the lack of wrestling talent from Cena in mind, he would kill the WWE. Um, no he wouldn't. Even with his lack of "wrestling talent" he's making WWE lots of money right now, so even if he doesn't do a single arm-bar, the fans still love him. So much like with Hogan, if he is a draw, then he can do as he wishes. The top reason as to why the WWF/E has earned billions of dollars is NOT because of people like Cena, but because of high-caliber matches that went hand in hand with amazing storylines and great promos.

Right, because the boatlods of Cena shirts/hats/replica belts, wristbands etc that Ive seen people wearing the last 4 or 5 live events Ive been to, and on TV every week havent earned the company an assload of money. Face it, the guy is a cash cow

Yes, that is why Cena's merchandise in 2008 sold the most in wrestling history besides Hogan and Austin

I don't think he politics, but I'm sure if he went to creative/Vince and said "Hey, I want to do this" or something, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to oblidge. Hence Santino/Cena or Cena/Cryme Tyme

The top reason as to why the WWF/E has earned billions of dollars is NOT because of people like Cena, but because of high-caliber matches that went hand in hand with amazing storylines and great promos. funny because i could have sworn that hulk hogan (a terrible 'technical' wrestler) made wrestling explode into mainstream popularity, and then austin and rock (two mediocre 'workers') caused the biggest wrestling boom ever, and the only one whos drawn a dime since then was cena but i guess i was wrong, the wwf was obviously making so much more money when bret and shawn were the top guys putting on high callibre matches all the time right? To be fair, it's easy to be a nice upbeat guy when everything is going your way too. We'll see in some years, whenever his popularity starts to wane. that can be true, but more often in entertainment people let their fame go to their heads and are total assholes when theyre on top and are only gracious when theyre on their way down and need all the support and fans they can get
