Thanks to the latest Wrestling Observer...
1: Mexico 2: India 3: Peru 4: Portugal 5: Egypt 6: United Kingdom 7: Chile 8: Republic of Ireland 9: Australia 10: Spain
WWE's most popular city in the world is Monterrey in Mexico, whilst their most popular US city is Newark, NJ, which makes me wonder why they don't run the Devils arena there.

I really wish that WWE would go to the Caribbean outside of Puerto Rico more often, but alas, that's not where the money is.

Lol. Portugal in 4th? Interest in wrestling dropped HARD around here last year. SD!'s house show here didn't even get a full house (all other WWE shows got a full house), and the programing is going through some awkward changes (first the schedule, now a change of channel). It is still high on kids though. Most of the older fans watch it through the internet or not watch at all.

When I went to Portugal with the girlfriend in the summer, the bars were showing Monday Night Raw.

So I can say I've stepped foot in the place where WWE is most loved.

I'm shocked at Peru been 3rd... I'm not - did you see that video on YouTube with the Peruvian fans singing "John Cena Sucks"? That place looked stacked deep full of people.

Are USA and Canada not countries? They are, it's just that per person, WWE isn't as popular there as in the countries in the Top 10.

Guess that leaves the Maldives as the 11th.
And Australia I believe is one of TNA's trump countries, that and some city in England.

Are USA and Canada not countries? They're also a lot more populous than most of the countries on the list.

Australia's something like fourth or fifth for TNA, their top two are Canada and the UK, with Toronto their top city, despite them doing average business there for No Surrender.

I wonder what the difference in popularity of various wrestlers is from country to country in that list.
I mean some differences are pretty obvious (one major one being in Latin American countries, where WWE's Hispanic wrestlers are far more over down there than here...and they're pretty popular over here), but there's some that might be much less expected. Like say overseas, any other cases like Peru where someone like Cena is booed heavily?

I'm guessing the highest concentration of Mickie Love in the World emanates somewhere in London, England.
