On to Round 10 ....
In the event of a tie both will carry on to the next day to meet some other challenger. I will try and vary the sources from comics to TV show characters.
I'm also going to add a bit of story to this to make it interesting, it's still a favorite poll but it's going to have continuity!
I will happily take requests for future opponents. But in the meantime we have to continue the story ...
--------------------------------------
Previously Nick Fury encountered Abe Spaien who offered to help Nick Fury.
As Nick Fury goes to reply his communicator sparks into life.
"Colenel Fury, Colenel Fury! Wake up ... you are being mind co ..... *More static*"
"Black Widow!"
Fury looks up at Abe Sapien and shakes his head, "Your not real, none of this is real, I'm still on the S.H.I.E.L.D Helli-Carrier.
Nick Fury unholsters a grenade and throws it at his feet. Covereing his mouth and backing off a little it then detonates releasing the tear gas! The victorian era facade abruptly vanishes and Now Fury is back in S.H.I.E.L.D and across from him in a room with a long table is a man with a skull for a face. he is coughing and spluttering from the tear gas.
"Curse you Nick Fury ... cough."
"Nice Try Doctor Destiny, but now it's my turn."
Nick Fury charges forward towards Doctor Destiny.
Can Doctor Destiny continue to plague Nick Fury with his powers?

Colonel Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury is a fictional World War II army hero and present-day super-spy in the Marvel Comics universe. Fury first appeared in Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos a combat series that portrayed the cigar-chomping Fury as leader of an elite U.S. Army unit. The character now makes frequent appearances in Marvel comic books as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and as an intermediary between the U.S. government or the United Nations and various superheroes. It is eventually revealed that Fury takes a special medication called the Infinity Formula that halted his aging and allows him to be active despite being chronologically nearly a century old. Recently Nick Fury launched a covert assault on the leadership of Latveria, who were plotting a massive attack on America, using a small team of heroes consisting of Captain America, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Daredevil and the Black Widow. One year after the assault, the Latverian forces launched a counter-attack, which resulted in Luke Cage being hospitalized, Fury's friendship with Captain America became strained, and Fury was removed as S.H.I.E.L.D. commander and forced into hiding, with numerous international warrants out for his arrest. He will return to help in the upcoming secret invasion of the Skrulls. His abilites include halted aging from the Infinity Formula, skilled and experienced soldier with many weapons and fighting techniques.

Doctor Destiny

Doctor Destiny is a supervillain who created the Materioptikon, a device which allowed him to create reality from the fabric of dreams. Using the Dreamstone he manipulated it's power, forcing flaws and adding circuitry, until it was attuned to him and not the Dream King. Morpheus was imprisoned by Alex Burgess at the time, unaware of what Dr. Destiny was doing and unable to stop or prevent it. Doctor Destiny's power was so great that the Justice League resorted to drastic measures to stop him. They hypnotized him and manipulated his psyche to prevent him from dreaming; this kept him from using the Materioptikon for criminal purposes but caused him to lose his mind and shrivel to a skeletal wreck of a man. He was then sent to Arkham Asylum, where his sanity eroded further. he has continued to plague the Justice League and it's heroes ever since.
