Okay, MLB Network, we get it. A-Rod did steroids. It doesn't mean you have to air the same one-hour Special Report segment for 29 consecutive hours. I'm missing Prime 9 because of your lazy asses. Hopefully with Spring Training coming up, they'll roll out some more original programming. Or at least some variety. As an aside, I feel like I'm watching a Whataburger ad when Prime 9 is on... or whatever those commercials the voice guy has done. Or an episode of VH1's "I Love The __'s". |

So, for anyone who cares, I tried the MLB General Manager game. I tried for close to an hour, but I just couldn't make sense of it (rented it off Gamefly, no instruction manual with it, Gamefly.com isn't very helpful at all).
However, from what I did try, the game just wasn't enjoyable at all. The negotiations are treated as actual negotiations. I tried playing as Colorado, and all I wanted to do was sign Edwin Bellhorn to a 3 year, 600k deal. It took him 3 days to respond. Really? Give me a break.
I'm just going to stick with MLB 09 The Show. At least that game has real music, real fun, and you can actually WATCH the games instead of simming them...

They should be more like the Mets and get it out of the way by the end of September. Lets their fans focus all their attention on football by October   Yeah, I'd rather not. That was more of a Mets joke, but if I get to make fun of two franchises with one joke, so be it |
