It's always bothered me when wrestlers are re-packaged or re-debut after a hiatus and the WWE would have us believe that we've never seen them before (off the top of my head, Umaga, post-Jamal).
Even on their WWE.com profiles it will list their in-ring debut as their most recent persona.
Interesting to note, then, that in R-Truth's write-up on the list of Royal Rumble participants, it cites his first Rumble appearance as 2001. Wasn't he still fighting personal demons in the hood at that time, according to storyline?

^ They only just added that. Because I checked the other day and it said none.

The problem with the repackaging of Truth, is the fact it was not a repackaging. Like at least with umaga he was totally different character. K-kwick is basically the same character as R-truth. They have the same move sets, same taunts, and the clothing is similar. The only difference is they rap different songs.. It makes me wonder why they changed his name.

"I cannot tell a lie. I got rowdy. And I moved some things." "I shook that ass, like jang-a-lang" This will make for one hell of a promo when he gets a world title push in the Jeff Hardy-esque fashion.

You mean how they claim the Hardy's wrestled in the early 90's when nobody even knew their names until attitude era?

Yeah, they don't need to mention that Ron Killings was part of an obscure tag team from the tail end of the Attitude era, no more than they need to acknowlege his epic battle with Lex Lugar at Superbrawl Saturday. Does anyone know if Billy Whatshisname was able to pay them?
