That was pretty funny. Not Dirt Sheet funny, but give it time. Glad to see that he's in no danger of being released with the cuts. Don't think they'd start this up if he was.

Yet another reason that Joey working for wwe.com was the best thing to ever happen to the site. This WWE.com is now awesome. The Top 25 lists are very good too. sadly the quick cuts seem to have vanished from the site so it's now less awesome than before

If he gets a "curb" gimmick of getting into sticky situational comedy situations awesome

I'm glad he's finally being used. I always found him funny on the Indy's and like his blogs on WWE Universe and 'I'm in a box' thing. Unfortunately this was really unfunny. I'm sure it'll improve.

I figured he'd be one of the recent cuts. I'm glad he got his own show, hopefully this leads to a few wins on TV.

If his character develops into the Larry David of the WWE as mentioned above, I'll mark like hell.

Quick Question: Was he ever a heel in the indies? I really can't picture him as one.

Didn't find it funny, but I thought the first couple of Dirt Sheets sucked, and now I catch every single one.

Did he ever get cheap heat and diss crowds and stuff? Or show a more vicious side? I've only seen him wrestling matches with a lot of comedy spots.

I've only seen him wrestling matches with a lot of comedy spots. Never really did too much of the crowd stuff, but he did show a vicious side during his feud with Homicide in Ring of Honor in late 2005-early 2006. Cabana went through this transformation from goofy character with a British-informed style to a non-comedic brawler for the duration of the feud. The character became the kind of guy who was falling apart over it, but brought the goods. Definitely a good babyface. And he can even pull off the funny against a super-serious opponent, as he did with Low-Ki at Ring of Honor's Buffalo show in late 2005. I think that his actual wrestling ability will win over fans here and at large. He really has a unique style and has adapted it as his experience grew. I think he'll do a great job if given the chance to be a midcarder. Think a babyface version of early Jericho or E&C. I'd love to see him interact with Ryder, forcing Hawkins to play even more of a straight man.

Yeah, because the WWE surely doesnt ever cut people who they have do videos/vigenettes... You know, besides Hade Vansen... I don't get what is so funny about this guy, really...but that's just me.

Someone re-upped it thankfully.
Personally, I really hope Cabana goes the "Good Times, Great Memories" route with this. Additionally for some reason I want to see a Dusty Rhodes cameo in this like he did once in ROH.
