Miz and Morrison probably.
Seriously, Hawkins and Ryder?

I read where there were ideas in making Val an agent... I doubt he'll get released.
Or so I hope...
I see Manu, Hawkins and Ryder, and maybe Charlie Haas going. Hell, maybe a Diva?

I'm calling Jillian Hall. I'd say Candice over Jillian simple because Jillian has moved into the Victoria role of putting over the new girl and helping them train (not to mention the singing stuff is still over).

If Haas gets released, pretty much a whole laundry list of wrestlers get released. Poor Glamahaas, Haas Hogan, CHL, Charlie Perfect etc...

I don't think Val will be released. I see Val as being someone who will be with the WWE as long as he wants. He'll be an agent/trainer. Val is the RAW version of Tommy Dreamer - he's not just there as on-screen talent, but because he's low on the card, he tends to face new guys early on, and is there to assess them and report back to management. I'm guessing Funaki does this for Smackdown, given he's the same age, just as reliable a worker, and perenially at the bottom of the card. And Val's injured, and they don't tend to release injured talent very often, because it's bad PR. I don't think anyone I'd say that D-Lo, Ryan Braddock, Ricky Ortiz, Bam Neely, Crt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, Candice Michelle, Tiffany, and a couple of developmental guys will go.

I have a feeling at least one diva will go. They have so many not doing anything at the moment what is the point of keeping them on?

They should just release all the Jobbers and lower midcarders and have Charlie play them instead. Charcore Haaslly Val Haaus Charliey Haas Yang The Charlie Kendaas The Great Haasli Charlice Michelle etc. Would anyone notice or care if they announced on Smackdown! that the role of MVP was now to be played by Charlie Haas, I say no.

So, it's possible that they'll just fire Haas and all his characters and think that they've fulfilled their quota?
Charlie Haas could sacrifice himself and save dozens of jobs!
Be a hero, Charlie!

Well if they're letting go of department heads (who I reckon make like 6 figures, at least) that probably cuts down on talent releases.
.....unless Vince is feeling hella cheap today.

If real talent releases begin I'll sticky this thread. Just letting you know.
Looks like we're all back on Black Friday watch again.

Looks like we're all back on Black Friday watch again. Side note: it's weird how the adjective "black" before a day of the week can mean both good things and bad things in business. Sometimes it's regarding days that companies make their money each year/move from the "red" to the "black" (this year the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas were "Black Fridays" - even though this year they didn't make as much money as they'd have liked) - and sometimes it refers to massive stock market collapses (the crash in 1929 was "Black Tuesday")

I thought "black friday" in shopping terms meant it was such a dark day for humanity, with the worst in people coming out, people getting trampled and killed for merchandise, etc. That's how I see that God-forsaken day, anyway.
I could see Snuka and/or Manu getting let go, but I hope not. They have a well-started in-feud right there, with Orton/Rhodes vs. Manu/Snuka/a returning Dibiase, and if they let one of those guys go it's going to leave the whole thing as a huge waste of time.

If they get rid of Goldman, I'll be upset. Agreed. A waste of some one that could headline just as good as several of the guys currently using up TV time.
