That too. It 'sorta' made sense in that he realized that they'd just become 'villains'; but him just surrendering, and being in tears no less irked me. That's the one issue I have with the whole death thing- as much as I love Bucky taking over ( which I NEVER woulda thought as Steve is my second favorite character) is Steve going out like that. I think it was less a belief that they had become villains and more a realization that heroes fighting heroes was just causing the public to lose, and that he'd rather sacrifice himself than continue something that could have ended in the loss of innocent life. Or, that's what I got out of it. I didn't actually read it, per se, but all the descriptions I've read of it give me that impression. Actually that's kinda what I was trying to say, you just put it better. But I concur.

That is an absolutely AWESOME and powerful panel of Doom, Sinestro. Thank you for posting it. Thanks, I have alot of awesome Doom moments in my photobucket, that just happens to be my favorite.

I'm actually surprised they went with him choosing the name of his love Valeria instead of him naming her after his mom Cynthia, cuz that coulda worked too.

I get and like what it said but i felt it was too abrupt. Also I hate that only 1 person died and It was Golliath (Big Whoop), If somebody was gonna die make it someone important (Reed Richards would be my pick . Plus the Spidey thing- which was a dumb idea from the get-go AT LEAST coulda led to interesting stories though they'd have had to retcon it eventually, ended up not even mattering a YEAR later. That's why I said make the death someone important, because they would retcon it soon after anyway. They'd probably say "It was one of Doom's malfuntioning Doombots" or some crap like that.

I like Valeria, it shows a softer side to Doom that their is someone he loves other than himself. Untill he sacrificed her to some demons and used her skin as armour.

Oh, and my vote goes to Iron Man. I hate what's been going on with the character since Marvel went Massive Crossover crazy, but that doesn't change the fact that he was one of my favorite characters growing up.

Yeah, I guess I'm looking at that in hindsight. At the time he named her, it's like 'ahh, his childhood love'.. then Unthinkable came-- which was awesome, as it was him at his most evil in decades.

(Oh and I agree somewhat). I'm not a big FF reader (I don't like em, aside from Doom)

I'm a big fan of the FF, though for about a year or two i wasn't because both 616 and Ult. FF were being written horrendusly. Though Milliar has started writing them brillitantly and I liked the Ult Thanos story in Ult FF. Doom my top MU villian. only guys that get close to him are Magneto and Thanos *Though those two aren't really villains anymore perse*

Gambit. Not only is he my favorite X-Man, but I was on Captain America's side during the Civil War.

If Iron Man does win this (and I think he will), I hope we see a Captain America/Iron Man match-up. That would prove interesting.
