Here's a question I've always had about the Mods. Now obviously there are a lot of threads on this forum, so do you guys have to read every single thread in your respective sections to weed out bad posts and all that, or how does that work? No one has their own sections, the ones listed by each forum on the main page is just for show. Mods try to read as many posts as they can but sometimes it just isn't possible. Any thread that could be problematic due to the subject matter is noted and is closely monitored.

I have another question, how do you get the little icons for your threads? Like right now Paul has a thumbs up on one of his threads, but I don't see anywhere to do this, how?

That's easy, when you start a new topic there is a drop down menu that says Message Icon click on it and you'll see options for different Icons.

When someone quotes another's post but doesn't write anything to add to it, so that the post shows the quoted post and nothing else, how does the system allow that?
Not an issue, just curious.

Not sure why to be honest. I know that on some other boards after you quote someone's post, you still need to add a minimum number of characters as a response. I guess it's just the way Proboards has it set up. Really wish I could provide more of an answer, but that's all I got

Is the inability to see where a user physically is on the forums something that isn't available on Proboards? Or was it chosen to be blocked when the forums were created?

Two questions:
How long do warning stay in effect for?
When being banned for 3 warnings, how long are you banned for?

When did a preview bubble start showing up if you mouse over a thread title?
I'm not even sure if I worded that properly, but you get my drift, right?

Is there a way to be able to see a user's username, instead of just the screen name, to use for PMs without clicking on the profile?

One other thing that was mentioned briefly but I'm not sure we ever touched on it.
The Spoiler tags here are NOT perfect. I think the order that a page loads is all images first and THEN any tags. So if something is image heavy and there's a spoiler tag somewhere, if you have a slow connection you're probably going to have whatever is supposed to be hidden spoiled for you. The spoiler tags also stop working completely in a thread if they're overused. so responding with a spoiler just to say "cool" and then having it continue is just going to ruin it for everyone else.

I just noticed the "report to mod" link at the bottom of each post. When did that show up?

Another question, how come some threads are deleted and others are locked? Does it just depend on the content of the thread?

Another question, how come some threads are deleted and others are locked? Does it just depend on the content of the thread? Pretty much. Sometimes a thread will be locked rather than deleted in order for it to serve as an example of what not to do, or if the subject's too similar to another thread. If a thread's gotten especially confrontational, or if it pertains to a subject we'd really like to avoid, it gets deleted.

What is the limit for youtube videos in one post? I seem to remember there being one but not what it actually is.
