We open with WWF Tag Champs D-Von and Buh Buh beating The Hardys, Lance Storm/Hurricane, and Big Show/Spike Dudley in a 4 way dance. This was a good average elimination tag-team match. I liked the spot where all the guys were jumping on top of the crowd of wrestlers below. The crowd response by the crowd when the Big Show started climbing the ropes was electric. It is probably a good thing he didn't because he would have killed somebody. It was a good solid match from the start to the finish. 2 1/2 stars.
Perry Saturn pinned Raven. This was just an average match from these two. I thought it would have been better off being about three minutes shorter. It seemed like the crowd was in it at first but as the match grew on the crowd quickly lost interest in this one. 1 1/2 stars.
Christian beat Edge to win the WWF I.C Title. It was their first pay-per-view meeting and I think they put on a pretty good match. About half way through this match Edge took a shot below the eye and it really busted him open as it looked like he could have used a few stitches after the match. The win by cheating for Christian was good because he gave him even more heat. 3 stars.
WCW Tag Champs Undertaker and Kane beat Kronik. This match was really ugly. It really never seemed to get any rhythm together and Kronik really seemed to be somewhere else during this match. I thought Brian Clarke didn't look to bad but Brian Adams looked horrible. He hardly sold anything and really didn't do a good job in the ring to make the match look real. It seemed like he didn't want to fall on the mat and when he was whipped into the ring corner he would be pretty much stopped before he even got there. 1/2 star.
RVD beat Chris Jericho to win the WWF Hardcore Title. This was a great match. Both of these wrestlers can use the Hardcore part of wrestling extremely well as they were both in ECW a few years ago. Some of the bumps they took on the ladder were really stick looking and definitely took a toll on these guys bodies. Jericho also got busted open below the eye after taking a shot from Rob Van Dam too. The finish was good because it kept the Chris Jericho feud with Stephanie alive and kept anyone from losing any real momentum. 3 1/2 stars.
WCW World Champ The Rock beat Shane McMahon and Booker T in a handicap match. This was a good handicap match. It really wasn't what I would call main event caliber but it was a good solid match. I liked the addition of Nick Patrick as the heel referee in this match because it made the Rock looked like he had even less of a chance of winning and still came out on top. The referee altercation was also quite interesting to watch.
2 1/2 stars.
Rhyno beat Tajiri to win the WCW U.S Title. This was a decent match but really was nothing to special compared to what they had put on in the past while they were both in ECW. I was looking for more out of this match but it really didn't do as good as I thought it could have. The time restraint on this match might have had something to do with it since they seemed like they were trying to get all there spots in quick so they could end the match. 1 1/2 stars.
Kurt Angle beat Steve Austin via Submission to win the WWF World Title. This was another great match between these two superstars. It wasn't as good as their match at Summerslam but it was a good match. I like how they finished the match with all of the WWF superstars coming to the ring and Kurt Angle's family also getting in the ring and celebrating together. This was one those situations where it really felt like the WWF was a separate family from the WCW/ECW alliance. 4 1/2 stars.
Overall, there's enough good stuff in there to warrant buying this DVD/VHS tape. Angle/Austin, Jericho/Rhyno, and Christian/Edge. Go get it
