So you may not like his gimmick, merchandise, or ring work, but Cena has not seemed to me to be a bad guy (talking real life here), and yet people are asking for things such as "Hardcore Holly Vs. New Jack Vs. John Cena in a first internal blood match."
That's the other thing, if anyone stiffed someone liked Benoit, Jericho, Eddie, ect...you'd be up in arms. But when it comes to Cena or whoever else doesn't use a technical style or isn't a "har har, he's a hoss so let's act like we like him" guy, someone you don't even know personally, you just about wish for his death.
A little disturbing...
Just my thoughts.

So if you don't like a character <insert actor here> plays, do you think they should be burned to death?

I'm with you. I refer back to Benoit and Jericho chopping hell out of Puder at the Rumble, and Holly being the one being bashed for it. They're 'stiff', but he's a 'vicious thug' and 'isn't over' (to see if he's over, note crowd reactions - he's been around for ever in WWE terms, and is recognised from the Attitude era - he. is. over).
And as for Cena. He's not perfect, but is improving and is way over with casual fans and kids. Were I to book WWE (not for myself, but for profit) he'd be on top too.

I don't mind guys that don't use a techincal style. If I did I wouldn't be a fan of guys like orton, JBL, HEIDENREICH and so forth
Cena just annoys the hell out of me. As for his blood, I don't want it, New Jack can have that............

I agree with the point Maxnificient is bringing up. A few weeks back when news broke about Triple H's neck injury, there was almost a resounding chorus of cheers from the people on this board. It takes a sick person to cheer someone suffering a neck injury. If you consider it to be a joke that your cracking at the expense of someone else's neck injury or physical misfortunes, then you're a clown, too.
As far as the comment that Cena acts like a 16 year-old, whereas Rey and Eddie do not. This statement deserves examining.
I have been a wrestling fan practically all my life. But, really, does a profession in which the bottom line tends to be, "If you piss me off, I'm going to kick your ass!" speak about the heights of human maturity. NO! It is for entertainment and Cena is damn entertaining at what he does.
It is also humerous that ComebackHHH would use Eddie and Rey as his anti-16 examples. Eddie used "lying, cheating and stealing", definitely attributes of a rebelious teenager, to achieve his greatest level of popularity and Rey tends to look like he's 16.

I never joke about wrestlers dying or getting killed, because you never know when a wrestler is going to pass for real. It just happened 2 weeks ago, and I don't doubt that it will happen at last one more time before the year's end.

Never mind people saying they would like someone to get stiffed... they aint half as bad as the people who actually condone people getting stiffed when it happens (heart throbs recently for example)
Rule 1 of wrestling is to protect the guy your in the ring with... regardless of what they may or may not have done, and regardless of who you may think you are.

Come on Rey doesn't look like he's 16.... I'd say more around 12

It's just another case of double standards, people defending their favs to the death. People cheered when Triple H had a stinger and hoped it was something worse. But when Triple H hit Benoit and a ref with a steel chair a couple of months ago and both victims got a little injured, everyone was going good ol' JR on him ("Damn you Triple H, g*ddamn you straight to hell!") People can't stand to see Cena on top, and they question life when Hardcore Holly gets a bigger pop than "Push" Paul London.
I think I read someone on this board a while ago wish for Cena to be put in a match with Masato Tanaka so Tanaka could stiff the hell out of Cena and "drive him out of the business." That kind of stuff would get you fired from any promotion, my friend.
And one thing about the Heart Throbs: Everyone liked it when Regal stiffed them, though for starters, why were both stiffed when only one of them was asking for more money from an indy fed? Secondly, Hardcore Holly did the exact same thing to Rene friggin Dupree (who probably deserved it) and Matt from Tough Enough (he didn't though) and we all hate him for it.
Double standards, says I.

Stop making fun of short people. . Just because Rey is small doesn't mean he acts immature like Cena. The persona would have suited a Simon Dean type comedy heel character, but not the WWE champion. Cena has mic skills, but they are being wasted in a stupid gimmick. I also don't want Cena as champ because I only like good technical or Hardcore wrestlers. However, I digress - I don't think anyone should be 'stiffed' as it is very dangerous - if someone has done something improper, it should be dealt with in a responsible manner backstage.

I think you're right. I disagree with you about Cena, but I think acts of discipline should be taken care of in the back.

Tell me, then... do you actually like WWE? Cos Cena is a whole lot less cartoonish than a lot of big box office WWE guys over the years.
I agree with the discipline thing, but this is wrestling... things like this have always made it into the ring.

WWE is all about Entertainment. If you want to see technical wrestling, there's a professional greco-roman style (Olympic / College / High School style) wrestling league starting up, watch that.
People who celebrate wrestlers' injuries are sick individuals.

I don't like Cena because he is awful in the ring. If he would take some time to enhance his skills, then he wouldn't be so bad in the ring. His character is lame but to me it is all about delivering in the ring. He just needs to get some ring skills and not be a kicky punchy guy anymore. And a new finisher would help or at least plead to use the DVD the right way again.
