...t. Just couldn't fit in that last t. Anyways anyone ever notice that in the United States theres some items that for whatever reason you can get on the East Coast, but not on the West Coast and vice versa. As a Massachusetts native who has lived in California for a few years now, I constantly notice this. For instance, I think fuffernutter is unheard of here. Also, a while back I made a thread about Charleston Chew, and got a hankering for one, only to be unable to find one as of yet.

There are a lot of regional foods out there, one of the reasons why I love traveling.

There are a lot of regional foods out there, one of the reasons why I love traveling. Yeah, but beyond just regions there seem to be just general divides even in what appear to be big enough on the surface to be national stores. Idk, I guess I just consider "regional stores" to be something different than what I would consider something like Dunkin' Donuts to be. Also, any good experiences at the regionals? Feel free to share? Also, I pretty much never do this, but 3,500 posts! Woo hoo! Does this mean I'm now eligible to run for Wrestlecrap President.

Just kidding. And you're in Irvine? I work on the border of Tustin/Santa Ana. Small world. Charleston Chew can be found at some gas stations in downtown Santa Ana, although I haven't been that way in over a year.

Charleston Chew can be found at some gas stations in downtown Santa Ana, although I haven't been that way in over a year. Hmm, I might have to check that out. In the conventional stores, like Albertsons, I never see them. Speaking of which, I never heard of Albertsons before coming to CA, but that might just be me. What's a fuffernutter? It sounds good. Yeah, I probably mangled the spelling of that as I know there's a least supposed to be an "l" in it, so it would be fluffernutter, so some such thing. Anyways, its deftly good. Its a type of marshmellow cream, that people usually eat with peanut butter, to make peanut butter and fluff sandwiches. I definitely prefer it over jelly.

I saw Nolan Ryan Brand Meat in the south before, that's the only place I saw it I think regional sports figures for the most part are delegated to where they play (played) We used to have Rick Pitino Pasta Sauces up here. I think we still have David Ortiz' Salsas.

My ex-girlfriend's from California and moved back there. She had discovered Yuengling beer out here. Says they don't have it out in Cali.
And while not specifically a type of food, I wish we had In N Outs over here. That place was awesome when I went there a few years back in Anaheim.

Tasty Kakes and UTZ potato chips Agreed. The two things I miss most about moving out here (that, and good pizza and good cheesesteaks) Although, I became extremely excited when I found Tastykakes in a Wal Mart here. I was so happy ;D

I think we still have David Ortiz' Salsas. Now they have baseball themed wines, including people like Kevin Youkilis, Curt Schilling, Jason Varitek, Jorge Posada, Johan Santana and Brian Schneider. Yes, I seriously saw a Brian Schneider wine.

Chicken Nuggets seemed like the obvious choice.
