So, One Night Stand. Hammerstein Ballroom.
"Just like ECW used to be like!"
Yeah, I totally remember them charging SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS for tickets. f*** WWE.

I think they range from $150 - $700. Nevertheless, they need to charge more since the venue is smaller and they still need to cover the costs of putting the show on.
And like the other guy said, "Because they can."

I think the highest ticket price is actually $400
Plus the WWE knows people are going to pay that sort of cash

I think people are nuts if they'll pay that much for it.
Use that money to buy some old ECW tapes.

That's a 100 dollars cheaper then WM and if it really IS a one time thing then it's worth it (I think they'll do it again) if you want to see it. That's why some people buy a Honda and others buy Acuras.
If I lived in the area I'd buy one of the cheapseats.....I wonder how much Hardcore Homecoming is?

Because they need to make money still, the building its in is still the ecw arena right? That place is a tiny bathroom compared to the usual stadiums the wwe is in.

i guess they just try to milk that wave of nostalgia they started with the ECW DVD. if that would have done less fantastic than it did, i guess ticket prices would be a little lower and i guess they reckon, that the hardcore wrestling fan will pay for just about anything that has ECW in its name...

I'm gonna watch it.
... and it looks like they're making an angle of it on RAW, too. I didn't like the sound of it at first, but maybe this means Vince might finally give in and let Paulie have his baby back.
I doubt it, tho.

Just like ECW was, except at half speed, with some of the wrestlers, at 10 times the price.
