regarding Thursday SD and my rant of last Friday.
after reviewing the facts of the case, and reading the rebuttals, i am changing my mind
rey got what was coming to him. (a spectacular sell) and eddie is indeed one bad mofo.
but here's a question -
does anyone else find it odd that they've reduced Eddie to a feud with Rey Mysterio, after his intense go-round with JBL?

No because Eddie and Rey are friends in real life, so they both must be very happy to be working toghether. Eddie knows that even thou he may not be in the title picture, he and Rey can put out a better wrestling match toghether than anyone on smackdown(xcept for Angle)

Eddie and Rey make for a good rivalry as of now, anyone else think there is going to be a gimmick match at Judgement Day?

Eddy and Rey will put each other over with their feud. They will become the reason to watch Smackdown. Both of them know that, that's why they wanted the feud.

Reduced Eddie to feud with Rey?!? That angle was the whole focal point of last weeks Smackdown!

The feud with Rey will make the 'intense go-around with JBL' look like children's hour.
I'm not saying it's going to be overly bloody or anything, I'm just saying that this feud is going to be ten times better.

Exactly, where as last time you just had brawling, this time you have two people that are going to put on a story that is INTENSE.
I would LOVE to see a last man standing match at Judgement Day, to bad there's already so many gimmick matches either recently or coming up that are similar.

If given the chance to feud with someone you know you can put great matches together with or feuding for a belt with the guy that raps..........I'd take the former.

If WWE were smart AT ALL they'd keep this going for the rest of the year.
And as for gimmick matches, let's save that. For the next few ppv's, have them in regular matches, and let them show what they can do, and build up some intensity.
Then, somewhere in the middle, when the intensity peaks, let the brutality fly.

As long as they can compare with Halloween Havok, I'll love it.

when i say reduced, i'm referring to the fantasy world of the WWE personas. Eddie was World Champ and kicked the crap out of JBL. and now he's gonna have a match of it with a little guy like Rey? logically he should kick the complete crap outta Rey. oh wait this is rasslin, logic has nothing to do with it. yes it should produce some great matches. let's hope Vince doesn't go for the quick cash , and he let's it play out for a while.

I've always noticed something interesting in when people say "Oh he's small! There's no way he can beat that huge guy!"
Ah...I seem to remember from the UFC's first few shows that the "smaller" guys were always the one kicking the crap out of the larger guys. I seem to remember a guy of Benoit's size knocking out someone that had roughly one foot and two hundred pounds on him.
So you can't always go for size difference.

This will be a great feud, and one that should be about actual wrestling. Size has nothing to do with anything, Mr. Ace. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
