I read this in the newest Sports Illustrated and I didn't see it on any news sites. I dont feel like typing it word for word, but, basically, Reid was competeting in the North Carolina Regional High School wrestling tournament. Some kid beat him then proceeded to do the Flair "strut". Reid didn't take kindly to this and attacked the kid, knocking him out. He was kicked out of the tournament and faces simple assault charges. I thought you guys might think this was kind of funny.

Instead of a random assault, Reid should have low-blowed the kid and then strutted right back at him.... KAYFABE LIVES!

How old is Reid anyway? Back when I was wrestling in middle school and didn't really know any better I once did a famous (at the time) wrestler's taunt after beating a guy - not going to say who - but I only did it once and looking back on it now I know it was f'ing stupid of me to do it. Isn't Reid like 16 or something? Sheesh.
...still, have to admit I got a laugh out of the guy who beat Flair's kid doing the strut. What a heel!

Since this was near my hometown in NC, we got a big story in the paper about it. Apparently, both school's teams got in on the scuffle, and Ric himself helped break it up. I wonder if he used some chops.

Because seeing someone do that at an amateur show would pwn.

He did, but he also attempted some sort of move from the top of the bleachers but was caught by Brooke Hogan and flipped to the floor.
Oh, well, maybe one day he'll hit that phantom move from the top.

I liked the joke. Hopefully the judge will make them "shake hands" and Reid can give him the "sike/woooo/run fingers through hair" treatment.

instead of the warm ups ala team Angle, I think (since it's Flair country, and they have a flair on the team) they should all come to the ring in sparkly robes accompied by that theme from 2001 space oddyssey (the real name always escapes me no matter how many times I hear it).

They could show up to the high school gym in limos wearing suits, and recruit a cheerleader to play Baby Doll/Woman, then put on the robes for the warmups.
