How about this... Crah Holly Hardcore Tournment(in honour) have a 30 min last champ wins.. then turn belt over to HARDCORE Wrestlers. no 24/7, just pure wrestlers T.V. Title on both shows and no ppv King .. Have a KOTR tournament 16 men .. winner gets to book 1 match a month..

The only way I would bring back the Hardcore title is if every match didn't turn into "New Jack-lite". I swear, with all the stuff those people would bring to the ring...
Some people forget that ECW wasn't all violence. Look at people like Tazz for crying out loud. Specifically Tazz vs. Bam Bam. The only "hardcore" thing about that match was a table was involved, and they fought outside the ring for a while. Other than that, they did a lot of wrestling, albeit, INTENSE wrestling. That's what ECW was: intensity.
I personally would get rid of the womens title (unless, I don't know, people like Tracy were brought in and Gail Kim was brought back) and bring back the TV title. But only have it a "defend once a week title." It's stupid to defend on EVERY show. People's bodies would break down quickly. But if it's defended once a week, you can have guys build up streaks, and build people that way. You can even give people like say, Snitsky "good workrate" because hey, they're wrestling once a week.

Why do people care for Gail Kim?
The only reason she chose that bland technical style over her high-flying style is because she was botching moves left and right.
Ah well, WWE female workers suck.

Hardcore title wouldnt be so bad if the understanding was that there were no dq or countouts in any of its title defenses. that doesnt me it turns into a bunch of foolish weapon tossing back and forth. hardcore wrestlers were like clowns of the wwe a few years back and the hardcore title was the title of the clowns. it never stayed in one place for more than a month. most of the time i had no idea or cared about who was champion. second thing i would like to mention, they have a hard enough time fitting in tv time for the champions they have now. another singles title just means another title and champion will be swept under the rug. if they were going to get rid of a title, i say it should be the womens. all they have now is divas running around with trish being the only real wrestler. they fired all the other women wrestlers. they did have some really good matches for a while there though. the tv title explained. back in the day, none of the titles were defended on tv. most of what happened on tv in the old nwa was to get you to go to the big house show in such and such location. well, to make tv more interesting but not to water down the main titles, they made the tv title. people would get a title match on tv, which made tv more exciting, yet they could keep from watering down the world title by not having it defended on tv. so if you wanted to see that belt defended, go to the house show. thats how i understand it anyway or how it was explained to me.

I say bring back the TV title, have it defended on every tv show, and get rid of either the tag team title on one show or get rid of the womens belt.

I'd have it like this: Undisputed title defended on both shows. All belts are defended in SD/Raw matches every 3 weeks or so (only normal matches or something minor like no DQ to make out that PPV matches are longer and harder fought with stuff like ironman). One belt defended per TV taping. Single brand PPVs are scrapped, and only the big four remain and they would have every single title on the line. SD: Tag Team (unified with Raw tag titles), CW Raw: Hardcore (not 24/7 though), IC (unified with US)

I'd get rid of the Women's TItle and as some have eluded to, bring back the World Television Title and have it defended on each show every other week. For example:
Week 1: RAW Week 2: SmackDown! Week 3: RAW Week 4: SmackDown!
But seeing how the WWE is it would probably be Heat and Velocity instead of RAW and SmackDown!

You already mentioned Bam Bam Bigelow & Taz, but what about guys like Shane Douglas, 2 Cold Scorpio, Chris Candido, & Lance Storm. What about the era of ECW that included Chris Benoit, Eddie Gurerro, Dean Malenko, & Steve Austin? Crusierweights like Rey Mysterio Jr, Psycosis, & Juventud Gurerra put on excellent matches and didn't use a lot of weapons. Hell even RVD & Jerry Lynn kept their weapon use to a minimum during their INCREDIBLE matches. ECW wasn't only about flaming tables, kendo sticks, & cheese graters, it also included some damn good wrestling. I hope that the WWE keeps the Hardcore title retired forever because weapons aren't nessesary to put on a five star match. Besides, the Hardcore Title became a worthless piece of crap after the 24/7 rule was put in to effect.

Except Trish. All hail the queen of the women workers. If they do get rid of the Women's title, just keep her on the mic or something, just KEEP TRISH ON MY TV!

You know, with Stacy Keibler wanting to turn heel, now would be a perfect time to turn Trish face again. Have both of them manage wrestlers...say, oh, I don't know a face Shelton Benjamin (Trish) and a heel Chris Jericho (Stacy)? You got the tie in from both Jericho's seeming resentment of Shelton, and his history with Trish, and you could have some mixed tags in there, seeing I'm pretty sure Trish, Shelton, and Jericho could spoon feed Stacy a good match.
Plus a heel Stacy with a heel Jericho? Gold.
Then again, a heel Trish and a heel Jericho would be Platinum.

Besides, the Hardcore Title became a worthless piece of crap after the 24/7 rule was put in to effect. I can remember that RVD only used chairs, and sometimes tables, but they weren't the focus of the match. They just led to the intensity of the match. Specifically building up to the big spot with either the chair (Van Daminator/Terminator) or the table (someone going through it). Lance Storm and Candido also didn't use a lot of weapons. In fact, a lot of the major stars DID NOT rely on weapons, only used them to make the match just *that* much more intense. Hell, the Funk/Sabu/Douglas match that put ECW on the map didn't involve weapons...at all.
