Was he told to tone it down or something? I remember when he did it before his arm would come across really fast and it'd make this really loud smack. Sounded brutal, now it sounds much lighter, and his arm seems less stiff when he does it.

I wouldn't know that, but I don't doubt it. He had to water down just about everything in his repetoire, so I guess the chops shouldn't be any different.

exactly^ why do a hard chop to make the loud noise if no one will hear it anyway with all that woooing. Thats why Big Show does the shhhhhh thing before he does a huge chop.
