For the 10th time.... some people would rather NOT wait until someone smashes there window. She was hitting his car, and they were acting like animals. Good enough. And for the 11th time, security had gotten between him and the fans. Once that happened he needed to get in his car and drive off. Instead he stood there talking excretory matter to them which further incited them. She attacked him, and he punched her (with good reason). Him further instigating the situation likely led to this though. Now then we only can really speak to what we saw on tape. Take the accounts of someone standing in a mob with a grain of salt. We don't know what happened until the cameras started rolling. The bottom line is there is a way to diffuse the situation and a way to ignite it. He chose the latter, and will now have to pay the consequences. Someone in his position, who has been a celebrity for some time, should know better. YEs, that's a smart idea. Turn your back on a pack of hungry wolves. From what I saw he was just protecting himself. Some guy lunged at him afterward.

I don't believe in violence either, but if an angry mob of people start attacking you, you only have two options. You can either defend yourself, or get your ass kicked. I guess he was just supposed to curl up in the fetal position and get the excretory matter kicked out of him. I'm all for defending yourself if someone throws a punch first. My WHOLE problem is Jericho should have just stayed in his car. If he REALLY felt threatened, he could have tried to slightly move his car to try and get people to move. If a fan broke a windshield, I'm pretty sure the security would have stepped in at that point or they would have been in SERIOUS trouble. The security should have done a better job, the fans should have been respectful, and Jericho should have...once again..stayed in the car. Everyone is at fault. But Jericho should take the big part of the blame for letting it get out of hand. And he did just that as soon as he stepped out of that car. That's a fair point. Hell, he may have even felt this way after the fact. Things can get out of hand incredibly easy in a heated situation. He's a known hot-head though, and it probably didn't do his temper any favors when his car started getting banged on.

Does anyone have anything new to add to the argument or are we going to just keep going in circles?

Jericho spitting and hitting irrational fans is appaling.....he should of run them over and got outta there. Theyre just lucky Ralphus wasn't there. He'd be suplexing and slamming people into wire fences and parked cars.

It's a free country and he can stand wherever he wants. It looked like he was gonna sign some autographs and stuff and some woman lunged at him in a violent manner provoking him to hit her and then another guy came at him and all hell broke loose.

But if there was someone in front of my car stopping me from moving, unless I felt like my life was in danger, I would never attempt to drive around them. That's just far too dangerous and could put you in far more hot water. I still say the crowd is at greater fault. Just because we see Jericho as a professional doesn't take away from the fact that everyone else should have had the common sense not to instigate it. They touched Jericho first, hence they're at fault.

He was standing there, security was in front of him, so yes turning around getting in your car and driving away was the smart idea. Standing there for a minute, talking to shit to everyone inciting them more, then turning around and getting into your car. After you've angered someone enough to grab you from behind was not a smart idea. My opinion, had Jericho handled this situation better he'd have been down the street before the camera even got in position to film what we saw.
