No, I can. Please read everything I have posted here. My concern is that alot of comments have not been able to differentiate between self defense, and it doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl, if they have it coming, so be it. I have read everything you have wrote and have come to the conclusion that you are now just trolling for the hell of it. Well done. Anyway back on topic, do you think this will be brought up on TV ever like when they brought up Ric Flair's road rage incident? Well, your conclusion is wrong. I am not trolling for the hell of it. I had an opinion to what happened, and what was posted, and I shared it, like everyone else. To take someone elses words from a different post: Because people; don't have one giant consesus mind, we are all induvidials capable of independant thought, hence the varying opinions. do you see?

while i'm not about to read all 27 pages at this point, i will say this on the subject:
1- Just because you pay money to see a show doesn't mean you own the performers inside and outside of the ring. To stop his car at a stop sign and mob the car, that's way too much, even for an autograph. 2- If security didn't do anything when the situation was happening, They have to be liable for allowing the incident to erupt. 3 - Jericho will be fine, because from what was seen, he was harassed to the point where his life could have been in danger, therefore self-defense was needed, especially if security wasn't doing their job. 4 - the girl deserved to get punched in the face. she wasn't an innocent bystander and was involved in the mob of people who were harassing/confronting him. 5- Wrestling is a show and is not real. Real life IS real. leave these wrestlers alone when they are trying to live their lives outside of the ring. There's no reason to approach a car with 49 other people when the guys are trying to go home.

I dont understand why some fans take things too far..i dont condon jericho for retaliating however when wrestlers finish a show they are tired and just want to go home/to the hotel...this was totally uncalled for

I wonder if jericho will be repremanded by WWE? Not sure. My guess is that the perception of the situation will kill any potential Rourke angle.

Has WWE released a statement yet? www.wrestlingattitude.com/headlines.php?subaction=showfull&id=1234126290&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2&"After leaving a live event in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday evening, Chris Jericho's car was attacked by a mob when he was stopped at a stop sign. Unable to proceed, Chris Jericho exited his car to ask the crowd to clear a path so he could continue through the intersection. A man and a woman physically and verbally assaulted Mr. Jericho. Arena and WWE security arrived to establish enough order to allow Mr. Jericho to re-enter his vehicle and depart. The local police arrived minutes later. Mr. Jericho was unharmed in the incident. The WWE is working with local authorities who are investigating the incident to identify the man and woman who fled the scene."

I don't think this is over.

Women do this all the time. They get in a dudes face call them names and provoke the hell out of them, knowing 1. We usually wont hit a chick, and 2. they have a Boyfriend who will protect them. Well this one got one to the face for reaching into someone they shouldnt have.
Also his back was turned during the intial punch and SHE grabbed at him, at that point in that mob it coulda been anyone. Sorry broad but u ate and have no one to blame but yourself.

Having just watched the video, those 'fans' have got no case. Jericho was just innocently going about his business, he shouldn't have to put up with bull like that.
As if he wasn't enough of a hero ;D

The two fans were arrested but released without charge according to TimeColonist.com. No word on what will happen to Jericho though.
