I guess I was wrong. I guess this will turn out to be a very memorable trip for Chris Jericho, and perhaps the whole WWE if this becomes a messy legal situation. I wanted a memorable show, but not in this way.

Anyway, the idiots who attacked Jericho were sitting close to myself on the floor for the whole show. Actually sitting isn't a good way to describe the male idiot (around 16-20 years old I'd say), who is your typical gangsta-wannabe, and who was wearing a merch-table WWE belt all afternoon, reacting to all the heels as if the whole show was a shoot and constantly running up to the front row and calling them pussies and such.

For example, at one point during the Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly match, Santino Marella began taunting a young fan in the front row. Next thing you know, the male idiot comes running to the kids rescue and, totally serious, gets in Santino's face, challenging him to a fight.

I was surprised security did not kick him out at this point. Afterwards I could hear him explaining to a security guard, "Didn't you see what he did to that kid? You can't do that," (I'm not totally sure what Santino said or did to the kid, maybe somebody else caught it) as if he believed the whole situation was as real as the fights that I'm sure he tries to pick outside of his local 7-11 on Friday nights. At this point I was almost tempted to pull the idiot aside and ask, "You do know this is a performance, right?"

So Jericho, as far as I can figure, was attacked by a real honest-to-God true believer, just like the guys who used to stab and punch wrestlers in the old territory days. I didn't think, unless they happen to be mentally challenged, such fans still existed. The idiot and his girlfriend (who I thought was at most 14-15 years old) were also huge John Cena fans, which is likely why they targeted Jericho after the show.

The article states they were both 20 years old. Ashley Levey can be easily seen in the video wearing a John Cena t-shirt.

So this brain surgeon had been itching to pick a fight with a wrestler, tries his hands at one of the smaller ones, has back-up, and still gets his ass handed to him.

In my opinion... I think that Jericho should have remained in the car.. despite how crazy the fans were... it's the security guards' jobs to control the fans.

He should have never got out of the car, period.

I love all the people who are blaming Jericho for leaving..an angry mob...who are PHYSICALLY ATTACKING HIM. I guess he's supposed to "follow the law" and just stand there and get punched and his head slammed against cars, but we can all sleep at night knowing he "followed the law" by staying.



And for all he knew, he was in a life or death situation. When people are attacking you, you don't have time to stand there and think about what you're gonna do. that same person (male) earlier on before the Y2J incident tried picking a fight with Tommy Dreamer, he was swearing and the security guard told him to stop...he then threatened the security guard. Instead of removing these two from the property the guard just stood their while these two kept swearing in front of little kids. Then this dude picks a fight with my sons 14 year old friend. If security had done their jobs and removed this guy when he first threatened the security the Jericho incident would never have happened. I blame security. WWE will probably never return with these fat outta shape security guards employed by our arena.

There is a major double standard here. Women are held to such a high degree that they can do just about anything and feel bulletproof. She is a dumb. bitch. Nothing else to that. You absolutely do not disrespect someone like that and expect to get off olly-olly-oxen-free. That's just basic manners, first of all. Jericho was TRYING to leave, and she egged him on some more. Don't start anything, and there won't BE anything.

Yes, he could've been a better person and just let it go. But tempers flare, people react instead of think first. MOST people would've slugged whoever the f*** shoved him without thinking twice about it. So don't say "he struck a woman, he's completely out of line", when honestly? You would've retaliated in THAT situation in pretty much the same way.

Fact of it is, if she wouldn't have done it to any other man (or anyone else period) she shouldn't have done it to Jericho.

Honestly, the only person he hit that I'm willing to let Jericho free from all blame is the girl. Thats the one I don't have problems with.

He could of done this too, and that probably would of been the best option. He just had to make sure to all the windows are shut and the doors are locked. Then it was just a matter of revving the engine up a few times to scatter the crowd and he'd probably be fine. Irregardless after he got out of the car, he generally took the right actions.
