so we have Umaga, Kozlov, Khali, JBL, Mysterio, Swagger, and Jericho without matches at wrestlemania.
So what gives?

Jericho v Legend representative
I'm pretty sure JBL and Swagger will defend their titles.

I doubt Swagger will, he's in a program with Christian, who's in MITB. Unless they resurect the Dreamer/Swagger feud, I don't see the belt being defended.

Umaga might be injured again.
Not at all bothered about Khali or Kozlov not being involved.
The card I think will happen: HHH vs Orton Edge vs Cena vs Show HBK vs Taker Matt vs Jeff Jericho vs Austin or Hogan Money In The Bank Swagger vs...Dreamer or Bourne JBL vs Mysterio (IC) Miz/Morrison vs Colons (Tag unification) 25-Diva Battle Royal
10 matches. I would be happy with this card.
EDIT: Forgot the Jericho match initially. But yeah, you get the idea.

I refuse to believe they'd shaft Mysterio off the card. I hadn't been his biggest supporter during his WWE tenure, but I have to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed watching him since he moved to RAW. He's one of the highlights of the show for me.
Also, why is Kozlov allegedly getting a match with JBL and not Mike Knox?

Yeah, Jericho vs. some legend is a given. Maybe Flair? Don't see him coming out of retirement, though, but who knows.
Umaga and Khali...yawn. Won't miss 'em. Umaga might make a run-in someplace. Doubt if Khali even appears. I think he might be a candidate for the future endeavors list soon. He'd probably already be there if not his size.
I could say the same about JBL and Kozlov, but they'll probably have matches. JBL will probably defend the IC (against Rey, maybe?), and Kozlov will at least appear in a run-in, if he doesn't have a match.
Swagger will defend against Finlay or Dreamer. Probably Finlay.

I don't see Swagger vs Finlay for some random reason.... ha ha. Anyways I think it will be Dreamer vs Swagger but with Bourne coming back next week who knows. And Vladmir, Khali can STAY THE HELL of the card and i will be happy. Jericho will of course have a match no doubt. i think it will be JBL vs Rey, i mean JBL is a lock for a match against someone. And if they leave Rey off this card it would be OUTRAGOUES in every way. The man has given two of the finest performances i can remeber at the last TWO PPV's and i am willing to bet he can make it 3 no matter who he is aginst.
Colons vs The In Crowd i don't know if that will happen (unless they already said it is and i don't know about it) and frankly i don't know if it should. They have done it to DEATH already. But i can't see Miz and Morrison left off the card either.

They havn't "done it to death" in regards to the Colons/In Crowd feud. That's how wrestling is suppose to work. You fight the guys you don't like a lot, and then have a blow off match. I know it hard to imagine anyone not in the main event having a real feud, but this is one that hasn't been done too much.

Kinda surprised we're not getting an ECW title match at WM25 at this juncture. I'd actually like to see JBL announce something at WM25 (say, he issues an open challenge to anyone), and then all these upper tier guys like Rey, Swaggah, Khali, and maybe even Kennedy or something reply, and we get a multi-person/gauntlet/battle royal match. But the "blow off match" is happening this week on Smackdown - NOT at Wrestlemania. Unless there's some jackassery this Friday in the finish, it seems like the feud could be over (or rendered redundant) before we get to WM25.

I think the idea is that both teams will have defended their particular tag belts - the way I see it happening (and I dunno the spoilers) is that Miz/Morrison will win on SD!, and so both teams will have made succesful title defenses - and thus shortly after it will be announced that both teams will unify the belts and find out who is the undisputed tag champs and best team in the WWE. They should do this, considering there are about 6 teams at the moment, and some of them barely get on TV.

That........ *Sean runs off, conducts lab experiments, pours steaming liquids into beakers, researches encyclopedias, consults scripture, uses scientific calculators, operates computer processors the size of tennis courts, makes a ham sandwich for himself, examines legal documents, rolls 20-sided dice, returns* ......kinda makes sense, I think. I'd like to see a tag match on the card too, but seeing guys like Rey, Swaggah, Koslov, Khali and others with nothing, it almost seems too odd to see the Colons, Miz and Morrison make it.

I think thecard already is: HHH v Orton (w/Legacy) Cena v Edge v Big Show Michaels v Undertaker Diva Battle Royal Money In The Bank (Shelton Benjamin, Christian, Mark Henry, Kane, Kofi Kingston, MVP, CM Punk + 1 other)
Assuming that Umaga's injury keeps him out a few weeks, I can see: Jeff v Matt Rey v JBL Swagger v Bourne Khali v Kozlov Mizorrison v Colons Jericho v Lawler/random legend being added
Maybe even Chavo v R-Truth in a short match for the US title (they're both in the angle, so Shelton could drop it before WM)
12 matches in just under 4 hours - can easily see the Khali/Kozlov, tag team and Jericho matches being fairly short, and MITB not being as long as usual.
Leaving the rest in the traditional pre-show Battle Royal (Paul Burchill, Tommy Dreamer, Festus, Finlay, Kung Fu Naki, DJ Gabriel, Shad Gaspard, Goldust, Charlie Haas, Curt Hawkins, Hurricane Helms, Ezekiel Jackson, Jesse, JTG, The Brian Kendrick, Tyson Kidd, Mike Knox, Santino Marella, Jamie Noble, Ricky Ortiz, William Regal, Zack Ryder, Sim Snuka, Jimmy Wang Yang, Dolph Ziggler) - 1 of these ends up in MITB, if that's not too big a spoiler

If they do the tag title unification, they need to bring back the old style titles. I'm sick and tired of looking at this crappy new ones. Why did they have to change them? Don't fix what ain't broken!
