You know those photos they used to flash across the screen right before the match started (think WM XX). I wish they still did that. I'm not sure what they're technically called aside from "wrestling match promo photos."
It's too bad there's no place on the net to see some of those, especially for classic matches like HBK/Hart or Taker/Kane (any of them).
If I knew where to get them and how to do HTML, I'd start my own site. I'm sure I'd be shut down by the WWE in a hot minute, but it'd be fun while it lasted.

Im with you. I love those things, especially when the wrestlers move around a bit or do their pose and then it just freezes, a really nice touch. My favorite one was the Survivor Series match from SS 2001 just to see all that talent in one pic with all the poses was great.

Yeah I used to love em on PPV and then they just switched to Frozen pictures. Didn't like it much.

You mean the versus screen? Yes, that. Especially the still shots, since it felt more old school.

I loved the old Saturday Night's Main Event wrestlers' logos they would show before the match, that looked like they were done by a tenth-grade Photoshop class. They'd have a log cabin with the name "Hillbilly Jim" typed over it in a fun font, or Macho Man's name over his sunglasses . . . those were awesome.

I'm glad they put them on The Stone Cold Legacy & Eddie Guerrero dvd's before every match. That needs to be a permanent thing.
I loved RVD's during the invasion where he'd do the thumbs down taunt look at the hardcore title then smile at the screen.

The match preview images are still used but i think Raw and SD are the only 2 that use them since ECW uses the stills

Those, and the archive of those shoots where they have all the wrestlers do stuff in the same set (this year's is some church-y hall kind of thing), are what I want to find collections of.
