An appreciation thread for quite possibly the best Rangers series. In Space was a closing to what started in 1993 and was quite dark and mature in comparison to the past series. For a fan like me, who had been watching since the original when I was in Kindergarten, this was like a coming of age.
Any fans?

I liked it. It was the culmination of everything that started in '93, and a fitting (and damn awesome) end to an era.

I stopped watching Power Rangers during Season 3 of MMPR, but upon revisiting the series some years later, I must say that the season finale of In Space looked pretty damn cool.

Ashleigh was hot. They seemed to want to do a lot with this and it worked

I pretty much watched most of the series and this one has to be in the top 3 for me.

My favorite of the series. Ecliptor is the first and still best of the noble villains and as a lot of other fans of the series was shocked to see him get turned to sand with real deep down villains like Elgar and Quantrons.

I liked it, though not as much as the first four seasons. It was miles ahead of Turbo, though.
Plus, that intro song was pretty cool.

Wasn't this the season where they had the TMNT on an episode? Or was that Lost Galaxy? I remember having them mixed up because Lost Galaxy seemed to have them on a ship and In Space had them on some planet...but not actually "in space". I don't know.

I'm pretty sure it was In Space.

Even though this was the end of the continuous storyline started with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, wasn't the next series (Lost Galaxy) sort of a bridge between the old and the new? I seem to remember Bulk and some others still hanging around.

Yeah Bulk and Skull are still reoccurring characters.
I kind of like what they do now with the rotating casts and the occasional nostalgic moments.
After the dogs*** that was Turbo, In Space redeemed the series.
It was the best Power Rangers series, but my favorite era was the Green Ranger era which was part of Season 1 and Season 2.

Probably the best of the Power Rangers series'. It was a fantastic show, and a great end to the original Power Ranger run.

TURBO might have been better if they didn't have the little kid

I thought the morphing sequence was pretty dumb. "Let's Rock It"? Really? And then the really cheesy voice for the "3-3-5" was terrible. I haven't hated any season of Power Rangers though, it will remain one of my favorite all-time shows no matter the season.
