A belt only old guys and former WWE employees can fight for? Oh, wait.

Maybe they can do something where the guy must be a veteran of a certain number of years and have a certain number of titles. And to their shock AJ Styles meets both criteria

** (SPOILER) **
Basically conformation of the above spoiler.
As it has been rumored, TNA will be introducing a 5th title into the promotion. It will be held and introduced to the promotion by Booker T, and will be called "The Legend's Championship." This plays into the angle that they have been running where Booker T has a briefcase, and has been claiming to reveal the contents at the proper time. Booker will defend the title against younger talents he feels he's above and other "Legends," basically it will be similar to the old "Million Dollar Belt" that Ted DiBiase held. TNA took possession of the title during the Bound for Glory weekend. The title was designed by Rico Mann and built by Dave Millican and Reggie Parks.

As long as it is just an angle belt like Million Dollar and FTW I'm fiine but if they actually call the midcard title the Legends Championship if they are even going to get a midcard title then I'm going to throw up in my mouth.......two times.

The belt must be full of jewels and diamonds, and have a crown as the centerpiece.
So it's basically an FTW world title?
You just know AJ's gonna be the guy to take the belt from Booker, because you know he has to win the belt.
However I wouldn't mind a full blown Booker/Lethal feud

I wonder if it will eventually become just a regular secondary non-cruiserweight title?

I actually think this has potential, if its done relatively short term (6 months to a year) and if basically Booker is treated as a jackass who believes he's better than anyone by carrying around a title he awarded to himself.
Plus they can unify it with either the X-Division Championship or the World Championship when the time calls for it.

I remember a few months back doing a poll asking if anyone thought TNA needed another belt. I remember most peeps saying no. I myself am in the minority that thinks TNA does need a IC/US/International/TV title. There just has to be something to fill that gap between the big men and the X-division.

I have always though that TNA needed a title like that. No matter how much TNA says that the X-Divisiontitle has no weightlimits people will always see it as an cruiserweighttitle. The world title will most likely, with exeption from Samoa Joe, be held by ex-WWE/WCW-stars and the well known megastars. That means that if you´re not an X-Divisionwrestler or a former champion in WWE or WCW you´re will be stuck in a no mans land. A midcard belt could be the steppingstone that many stars will need to get to the top so we can have more variation in the top than it is now.

I like the idea of having an IC like title for TNA.
Mainly because I have no idea what the X Title is supposed to be, and I guess TNA doesn't either. Is it supposed to be the cruiserweight title? Then why did Samoa Joe have it? If it's not supposed to be strictly for cruisers for the most part, then why haven't the bigger guys wrestled for it more often?
