I'm thinking Rick Rude like "Insurance Policy" for some up and coming young talent that need it. He'd never go to ECW, so the Hart Dynasty is out...but maybe CM Punk over on Smackdown could use a little muscle to back him up when he completes his rumored heel turn. This is true. Plus "Business Suit and Sunglasses" Batista is so much cooler than "casual wear/wrestling" trunks Batista anyways. In that vein, I'd also like to see him run a stable almost like a Kingpin type deal. In which the top guy makes his lackeys do stuff, but when the opposition gets close enough to try to lay a finger on him he crushinates them! I like this idea alot it'd make me interested in Big Dave again.

I think he'll keep coming back to wrestling as all the things he aspires to do outside of wrestling are I think well out of his reach. He's not a movie star he really doesn't have much charisma. Being a muscle bound freak will take you far in wrestling not so much anymore in the movie industry.
I don't care much for big Dave but its not really his fault I used to love the guy he's just lost the spark he had when he first hit the scene.

It seems like everyone is so injury prone these days. Didn't he JUST come back? He is in his 40s anyways, isn't he?

I see him in an Andre and Haku/Yokozuna and Owen role, where the young guy does most of the work, so Big Dave can finish them with the powerbomb. I mean, Dave's not nearly that bad off, but it's a part time role, and one where he can get someone over. Team him with Kendrick. It could really help put over both Kendrick and the tag division.

That's not a bad idea either, except...what happened to Ezekial? Wasn't that HIS job? But yeah, I like the idea of Kendrick having had a string of "loser" partners and getting his ass beat, and then one time he just comes out against another team, and points to the curtain, and it's DAVE.

Well Batista could always take a more relaxed role if Vince would let him to possibly extend his career. It seems to have worked for others, and Batista is enough of a name to justify him being excused from house shows to keep him performing if that would help. I agree with this, his overness makes him a viable name. People still mark huge for the guy and that's all that matters. I just wonder why the marketing machine doesn't get behind him all his shirts suck

Perhaps leaving the horse steriods out of his bowl of Wheaties may help
I used to like Batista but now could care less what he says/does after his remark about his wife in his "book"

I love how you can judge a person without knowing them through something in his book that wasn't pushed upon.
His wife got a divorce, he's on the road all the time.
Tell me about a pro athlete/celebrity who's out on the road and doesn't get some poon on the side

The last couple of years Batista has been one of the most boring bland guys on the roster so a few people may notice.

Not everyone on the road is a cheater, it's a cop out, if you want to sleep around don't get married.

Retirement is the right path, guy is too physically iffy to support a true main event push at this time.

Um...didn't it turn out that the stuff about Batista and his wife was a load of crap made up by the newz sites? I distinctly remember Batista doing an interview with The Sun where he debunked that anything of the sort was even in the book and the entire quote was pulled out of some journalists' ass.
I mean, I'm not saying he's an angel - the whole situation with Melina a while back probably says he has cheated on his wife before, but just cheating on your wife is something a huge amount of married wrestlers do; including some aforementioned IWC sweethearts.
You guys have read his book, right?

You guys have read his book, right? Well I did, but then I'm one of his Animals I guess, is that what we're called? Batista fans? The only thing that came close, was his being lonely on the road, and getting sidetracked. His wife got a divorce for the same reason Flair's did because he's never home. Heck from some of his other interviews it sounds like he's been trying to get back with his wife. Hah anybody else find it hilarious that he's a grandpa and nobody in WWE calls him gramps?
